I just wanted to pop in and say an enormous thanks to all the members of the Patreon. We hit our $100 goal tonight! Again, so much thanks to all of you for contributing and being a part of the site, it means so much to me!

I put out the commission request to an artist, so I'll keep you updated as I hear back. The commission is hopefully going to be something different, so it may take a little longer. In the meantime, I've started work on the next illustrated Mercs story.

New Game: Sea Cruise

It was fun working with Thom on the Funhouse game revamp, so we decided to collaborate on a brand new game! We took the Choose Your Own Adventure format and stuck it out at sea for a cruise adventure full of morphs and wackiness and hijinks! A Cruise Your Own Adventure, if you will. I'll give you a moment for the laughter to subside. It has seven different endings based on your actions and stats by the end of your week's vacation, so get playing here:

The team knows their curse and what's needed to fix it, but that doesn't mean they have to like or accept it. I'm a big fan of Ys as action-adventure title in the style of the original Zelda games, but I really just don't care about Adol as a main character. For our weekend art, we take a look into an alternate future where the Mercs lost their fight against the robot armor and were mechanized themselves! Alternate future is pretty keen. It makes Ruth's chest even more magical.

Quick Critique: Splatoon

There's a lot of potential for Splatoon to become one of Nintendo's best new properties, but its first offering leaves a lot to be desired and is extremely light on content, usability, and basic features. The motion controls are awful and the kind of thing you would have expected designers to abandon after the early Wii days.
