Game Thoughts: Multiversus

I've been collecting my thoughts on Multiversus through its first week, but so far, they are quite mixed.

It has some really nice art and music. They do a great job of making some very disparate characters look like they can exist together. It feels like those Scooby-Doo crossover episodes. Yeah, Shaggy and Batman and the Harlem Globetrotters clearly don't come from the same franchise originally, but they can meet up and it's not too jarring. Chain Willow and Kath

Our next request was by Ross to have Willow and add demon horns to the characters. Now I think everybody is too top heavy stand up.

Our next request was by Kachopper to have their character Kath join and add even more princessyness to the gowns. Now they're just in a full-on turtle state. Knock one of them down and there's no getting back up!

Willow knows all about the shenanigans of alternating villain identities and mantles. It really saves a lot of time and exposition when you're dealing with people in your industry.

Misstery also has a very charitable take on "stealing an identity" to be more of a... passing of the torch.

Evil monsters deserve care too! Sure, they may have some crimes, most recently including shoving down a poor beach lifeguard, but if the Agency is just going to turn its back on every person that tried to bring down society or eat the Agents, then who is really left to protect?

Willow seems to be much friendlier when it comes to resolving missions involving other Divine with behavioral issues. I'm sensing some favoritism here... Either it's Mari's willingness to get drinks in the middle of a case or Willow's preference for humans she can just lock in a bathroom until she gets wasted, naps, cures a hangover, and naps some more. What, they have water, a shower, and facilities in there. They'll be fiiine.
