I think we're seriously downplaying the benefits of not having to plan a new route to the office, knowing where supplies are held, knowing the kitchen and snacks situation, and the sheer power of knowing where the good bathrooms are on day one. Bathroom lore alone overcomes any issues of showing up in front of coworkers wearing your executive mandated ginormous chest plate.
