This is a project where I used parts from the old Imperial Sector model kit from GW and combined those with a structure made from high density foam. I used a Proxxon Hot Wire Cutter to bring the foam into shape.

A wire brush is a great tool to structure soft balsa wood. It brings out the wood texture and give it a rotten and more detailed look for miniature modelling.
