Divine Domain: Bee (a May-Bee creation)

Maybe your setting has a bee goddess, or a god of the harvest, or just a deity of nature that appreciates bees. Maybe you have (or are) a player that wants to play an insect-themed cleric and likes the idea of it being centered around bees.

Yes, the inspiration for this philosophical NPC is an old Monty Python song. I always say anything and everything is inspiration for D&D game content.

Monster: Swarm of Carrion Bees (a May-Bee creation)

There are bees in the real world that scavenge flesh from carrion. I just made them bigger, more dangerous, and green...and put them in a swarm.

A bit late due to illness, but this is for day 28 of May-Bee.

NPC: Beewitching Bellatrix (a May-Bee creation)

This wizard likes bees, and she likes getting her way.

Species: Inzyuki (a May-Bee creation)

What started as a type of monster back in December 2024 has been altered to turn it into a playable PC species (race).

These bee people don't verbally speak, but they do have a limited telepathy they can use with other creatures.

While delayed because of illness (I'm still ill, but feeling a little productive today), this is the creation for day 26 of May-Bee.

Spell: Moment of Life

Another spell inspired by something a patron has shared, this spell lets you bring someone back who's been dead for quite a while, but that return to life is temporary.

Beeholder Honey (a May-Bee creation)

This sweet substance causes you to see and hear things that aren't there. It makes use of my delusional, hallucinating, and intoxicated conditions.

Made for day 25 of May-Bee.

Spell: Vigor Mortis

Kind of a combination of raise dead and reincarnation with a plant-based spin, this would likely be used by a druid (or nature cleric) to bring someone back from death.

Made for a patron, inspired by a MtG card they'd seen.

Spell: Beesmirch (a May-Bee creation)

This quick spell makes a person look bad, besmirching them in the eyes of those who pay attention to appearances.

Made for day 24 of May-Bee.

Plot Hook: The Beetrothal (a May-Bee creation)

There once was a prince who was not happy about the person he was supposed to marry.

Made for day 22 of the month of May-Bee, this is actually a monster with two stat blocks: a single beeholder and a swarm of beeholders.

Treasure: Galahad's Grandfather's Bagpipes

This is the 100th and final weekly Treasure Tuesday creation.

This unique, nonmagical treasure item was made after a quick poll on my Discord server resulted in more than 1/2 of respondents picking "a tool or musical instrument".

I will likely make more such treasures in the future, but it won't be on a weekly basis.

Queen's Call (a May-Bee creation)

This magic dagger provides you with the benefit of your own personal protective bees.

This was made for day 20 of May-Bee, a month of daily, bee-themed homebrew creations.

Spell: Beehavior (a May-Bee creation)

This spell will curse a target so that it tries its hardest to act like a bee.

Made for day 18 of May-Bee (a month of daily, bee-related content creation), this bear/bee monstrosity loves the taste of sweet stuff and will go after such treats aggressively.

Monster: Bee Swarm Demon (a May-Bee creation)

This creation is a collection of thousands upon thousands of bees, but I have it listed as a fiend because the bees are being controlled by a demonic spirit.

Story Starter - Beeseeching Aid (a May-Bee creation)

This plot hook / story starter has bees asking a group of travelers (ie, a group of PCs) for help against what they see as a giant monster.

This unique miniature tree has been grown and passed down among members of a single family for more than four centuries.
