Trick or Treat!
This creature in a goblin costume is looking for treats, and will play a trick if it doesn't get one.
As a treat, this one is open immediately for all patrons so it can be used before Halloween.

These nasty things are deadly even to mighty paladins.
Not necessarily themed for Halloween, but these were directly inspired by my creation of Gilnorn's Light of Vitality, so I had to stat them out.
I'm posting both for all patrons right today.

This oversized magical lantern is a great boon to an adventuring party, but it comes with a price.
This item was actually created after I drew the artwork for it.
DMs: Might be helpful on this one to have identify not fully function on this because the lantern might simply be a magical container for that glowing thing (an the magical glowing thing could be the source of the light and bad stuff.
I find it best to not have a simple 1st-level spell always be able to re...

A dim magic lamp that helps you ignore troublesome bugs like mosquitos, flies, ticks, spiders, crabs, and more. Doesn't work in bright light.

A mostly harmless, predatory amphibian that glows dimly. Just don't scare it.

This super-black ink just seems to absorb light...which it is doing. Afterward, it turns white and glows for hours. Cool for writing, cooler for tattoos.

It's like sending, but you're sending a mental image instead of spoken words.
The limitation of not being able to read anything in the vision is to prevent "I send a vision of this entire letter I wrote to my friend with Keen Mind" abuse of the spell.
DMs should also keep in mind that only the rarest of individuals could perfectly recall everything they've seen for only 6 seconds. Definitely an appropriate time for Intelligence checks to try to pick out specific details o...

Inspired by Halloween masks and The Wolfman movies, this mask lets you transform yourself into the form of a werewolf.
Use it too much, though, and you find that it is cursed.

Inspired by Halloween costumes, where you dress up as ghosts and things to confuse the real spirits, this mask lets you pretend to be undead.

Originally commissioned for a group of women that worked at a brothel in a large city, this type of magical lantern has seen use by other service establishments over time.

While I normally only create homebrews that can be used with just the basic rules of the game (in the SRD or Player's Handbook) and possibly my own homebrews, I've decided to make a dragon-themed subclass for the artificer found in Tasha's Cauldron of Everything.
The Dragonforger creates magical objects that they attach to a special harness. Each object gives...

Many campaigns have dragon gods with names like Bahamut and Tiamat. This is a domain specific for those two deities.
The spell lists and many of the features of this subclass depend on which deity you serve.

Poll closes in about 5.5 hours....
Greetings, all.
I'm tossing around several ideas of what to make for the first part of October, and thought I'd ask everyone here. Please vote for what kind of content you'd like me to focus primarily on.
Thanks!

Inspired by a simple three-word prompt on a Discord server, this sword just uses an illusion to change what your outfit looks like while you wield it.
There are two files included here. The first is what the PCs find out with a basic identification spell. The second is the full description, for the GM.

Attach a big metal spider to your armor so it can use magical webs to improve your AC.
Another creation inspired by a prompt on the Discord of Many Things, this time posted by @Dank.
Hope you don't have a problem with a spider crawling all over you...

Instead of simply giving this dragon-themed monk subclass features of chromatic or metallic dragons that would mostly be combat-related, I decided to make these monks 1/3-casters based on the T'ien Lung (celestial dragon, D&D's version of the Tianlong, the heavenly dragon).
This subclass gets features and spells related to water, weather, fire, and the ideas of order and honor. Yes, there's a fire breath. At the highest levels, they can control the weather or call down meteors (this...

Player Characters often do things their DM doesn't expect them to do at that moment. These times call for some improvisation.
Such was the case during my Sunday game last night, when the group decided they would tangle with a dragon ASAP (which they had barely escaped from previously and it turns out had burned down half a village). The dragon lives in disorienting swamp that is constantly filled with dense fog.
The shopkeeper they were talking with, when he realized they were ser...
