Figurine of Mending

Inspired by a post on reddit asking for certain types of items without mentioning any specifics, this is one of several minor magical items I came up with.

This little knick-knack is always in great condition because it instantly fixes itself if damaged.

Stone of the Dark Den (a Sept-umbra creation)

Staff of the Woods

This staff is a valuable item for druids, sorcerers, warlocks, and wizards.

The idea came to me when someone just wanted a staff. I decided to make it a common-rarity item fit for even a mighty 1st-level character.

Warm darkness surrounds you, making you feel safe. Yup, it's a furry black cloak.

This is my creation for day 22 of Sept-umbra.

Token: Spell Template, Web

This visual effect was created to use as a token with a virtual tabletop platform such as Roll20.net. It's designed to be used as a 4x4 square vfx token/overlay (use it like you would use AoE templates at your physical table). 

This was made for marking the location of the web spell.

Point of Interest: Darkwater Spring (a Sept-umbra creation)

This spring, found within a temple to a god of darkness, produces magical black water. It's helpful to immerse yourself in it before delving into places with constant darkness.

This is my creation for day 21 of Sept-umbra.

Updated May 2021: Recategorized as a point of interest, rather than a magical item, and given a more detailed description for DMs to use in their games.

Umbraleaf (plant) (a Sept-umbra creation)

Growing only in cool, shaded water, this plant can be used to make a treatment for burns.

Created for day 20 of Sept-umbra.

Monster: Shadow Crawler (a Sept-umbra creation)

Normally, a large centipede is a good thing because it will eat all sorts of bugs. This, however, is large enough to eat a person, and then another...and it disappears whenever it is in shadows or darkness.

Spell: Call of the Shadowy Void (a Sept-umbra creation)

A hole appears, so deep you see only darkness at the bottom...and you feel the sudden urge to jump into it.

This spell idea began with the idea of just a "black hole" of some sort, which turned into conjuring a hole that is dark at the bottom, and then I thought of adding a magical bit of high places phenomenon.

Spell: Shadowbound Flesh (a Sept-umbra creation)

Use this to "heal" someone until a cleric comes along. It fills in their wounds with magical darkness.

Spell: Conjure Shadow (a Sept-umbra creation)

Call upon an undead shadow to help you weaken your foes. Swarm your enemies with them at higher levels.

Divine Domain: Weather

When your weather-related gods aren't all about the fury of lightning and thunder (Tempest domain), maybe you need something a bit more defensive with the ability to control wind and rain.

Updated March 2021 with some minor changes (wording, possible domain spells).

Spell: Throw Shade (a Sept-umbra creation)

Use your words to darken the world for a creature and cause it to doubt its own abilities.

This was created for day 12 of Sept-umbra.

2023-05-04: Updated the spell a little. Using an action no longer gives a new saving throw, it simply ends the spell (and the target's turn). The original version was just a little too strong for 1st level.

Make people around you doubt their own abilities, and your own day will seem brighter by comparison.

Spell: Ink Stain (a Sept-umbra creation)

Turn a creature black instantly. Great for sneaking people in or out of a place at night. Inspired by watching several black squirrel in my back yard.
