Hey friends! Just want to give you all a progress update on Build 2.

The writing's been done! Build 2 will feature all of Day 4, and it's about 15k new words.

Now, I'm in the coding stage of where I'm adding all the text to the game and placing all the sprites.

You've seen the sprite for our new character, Vin! He'll be introduced in Build 2. He'll have a small appearance, but you'll see him more often in future builds (especially for Darrell's route).

ChoPro Staccato, coming to Patreon on Dec 1st!

Hey everyone!

We're way ahead of schedule on ChoPro Staccato! So I'm happy to announce it'll be coming to Patreon for Dorian and Lydian tiers on December 1!

As a reminder, Staccato will be a collection of short stories that the creative team will be building over time. The current plan will be to provide a short story once per calendar season (winter, spring, summer, fall). It'll be available to Dorian and Lydian tier Patrons exclusively for a long time.

It's coming! I'm ironing out the last details and making sure all the voice lines line up properly. It'll be up before midnight EST!

I anticipate releasing Build 1 later tonight. As I've mentioned in previous posts, the script, the sprites, and the characters scenes are all where I want them. But I'm still doing some last-minute recording and implementing of voicelines.

All-in-all, I don't think the version of the game you guys will be getting tonight will be 100% where I want it, but it'll be ~95%. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so it's a little tough putting out a produc...

Hello my Chromatic Cuties and my Dear Dorians :3.

Just would like to remind you all that if you'd like access to the review copy, it's currently available now if you upgrade to Lydian tier. The review copy is a pre-released version of the completed Build 1. The review copy also has some voice acting as well (Moriah, Dave, Cliff, & Pat).

Adoping Patreon's New Billing Model

Hi friends!

So you may have seen this announcement from some other creators, but ChoPro will be switching to Patreon's new billing model.

The only thing that's different is that Patrons will be billed each month the same day of the month that they signed up. So, if someone signs up on 15th of the month, they will be billed on the 15th of every month going forward.

For everyone who's a part of our Patreon community now, this won't be applicable to you. You'll still be billed ...

I have some unfortunate news. I'll have to push back releasing review copy 2 by one day. I currently am planning on releasing it on Sunday, October 2.

I'm hoping one day won't be a big deal. Looking at my schedule for the rest of the week, if I try to release on Oct 1, I'd be really rushing, and I want to make sure I don't rush and give you guys a bad or broken product.

I have all day on Saturday to work on it, so I'm going to be using that time...

New Devlog Plus Update

So a new dev log is up. It's announcing our official public release day of ChoPro for 11/11 😸. Just as a reminder, ALL of you will get it early. 

Aside from that, I have a few things I want to catch you guys up on.

Regarding review copy 2, looks like it'll be out October 1! Several characters will be voice acted in this version, but all of them won't be. I'm still working on getting some voice lines.

I'm also working some more on the graphic and UI elements of the game. We're certainly heading in the right direction, but I want to make it as beautiful as possible!
