Why do you think Bonchein made up the devil lie only t refuse to "confess" instead of trying to escape "the right way" or even paint Fushi in a better light? Do you think it's because he knew they wouldn't care or did he just change his mind at the last minute?

Oh no. Bonchien has got an evil plot maybe, i don't know, could be. Fushi seems to kind of sort of trust him or soon will. So I see heartbreak before resolution.
We talked about how the dead seem to be maimed in the afterlife too. And the implements that maimed them stay there. Any thoughts on that?
