What do you think of Kage joining in with Boji? As [Markus?] brought up in the discussion, characters are often given a very superficial reason for making a decision like that. Did you feel Kage's held weight?

Oh boyyyyyy. The fight of the wits begins! That tennis game makes me think that they want to say Light is gonna win this war or at least get a big win somewhere along the way. It was so psychologically heavy. Hahaha!
What do you think about the imagery of Light's eye colors getting red in some situations? Do you think it means something? Or is it simply an artistic cue for Light's thinking mode??

Wow! Very promising start! I'm excited to see this bright-eyed kid (apparently older than Daida) will fare in the trials he will inevitably face. I have to say, the end of the first episode was great. After all the trash-talking going on for Boji, it was exciting to see that he did indeed have promise.
If you've seen this before (and if you haven't) what was your first impression of the show? Did you see promise? Were you turned off by some things? Would love to know.
