With a critical eye and no small amount of hard work, I‘ve revised Evelyn’s body assets to more closely depict what I consider to be her ideal body type - the closest thing I can manage to properly prepare Evelyn’s petite proportions for animation!

I’m still working on this month’s Cinnamon Hearts update. If you check out the Discord every now and then, you might have seen that I got my second dose of vaccine recently (hooray!), but it left me really lethargic for a day or so after 😅

The enterprising Norm Johnson company continues their grassroots campaign by hiring local girls to sell their goods at the Candy Shop. I thought of moving on to the body after figuring out the basics of creating meshes and rigs to animate Evelyn, but decided I'd rather improve her facial animations.
This process involves creating meshes for individual art assets (eye lids, mouths, cheeks, etc) and binding them to controllers (bones) that can be used to manipulate her facial features... and once that's set up, we start animating!
