Still Processing

I'd wanted to get back into the comic tomorrow, but I'm just not there yet. For those that don't know, my brother-in-law was staying with us when he passed, and now that my wife has returned from the funeral we're working on cleaning up the guest room and figuring out what to do with his stuff. It's a very, very surreal experience. on the plus side, if he does chose to haunt the apartment, I know he will be a very chill ghost, but I'd much rather he move onto whatever is next.

Getting There.

Yesterday I finished up my covid treatment, and I'm feeling much better. Sadly, there's not a medication you can take to help you get over losing a family member. My wife is down south, seeing to brother's funeral arrangements, while I remain up here recovering. I'm also looking after our new 'nephew kitty'. He keeps looking for his dad, and it is breaking my heart. I hope in time he will learn to love us.

I am fine, but there's more.

I wasn't planning on updating tomorrow since I'm still recovering from COVID. Fortunately, while I might be tired, I feel like I am on the mend.

However, there has been a very unexpected death in the family, and I'm not sure what my week is going to look like. I will keep you all informed as things are resolved.

Take care of yourselves out there, and tell your loved ones how much you love 'em.

I tested positive, which is a negative...

I've felt better... I've got a cough, and sore throat, and the energy of a dying sloth. So I'm going to take it easy for the rest of the week. Sadly, that means no comic update, but it's for the best.  I tend to work best when I'm mostly alive. 

Also, since my wife gave it to me, I might be able to get an apologetic Lego set from her. All I have to do is survive!

My editor (and wife) has tested positive for covid. My test has come up negative, but I imagine it's just a matter of time before it gets to me. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. I feel a little stuffy, but otherwise fine. So I'm going to keep working on today's comic.

Do to a passport issue with one of friends, our trip to Iceland is being postponed until some time in 2023.

Not sure what to do with my week off, but I'll think of something.
