It's good to know your limitations. For example, at 47 I know I should never attempt to do a cartwheel, go into a Hot Topic, or drink caffeine after 8pm.

I wrote this short story, but also knew it wasn't something I could ever illustrate the way I needed it to look, because I know my limitations. However, I still wanted to do something with it though, and after having it sit around for quite a few money, I decided to use AI.

An Important Reminder.

I had a friend take themselves out of the game last night, while not a super close friend, it still hurts like hell, and it really hurts some of my closest friends.

It's been a rough year, and the next one isn't really looking any better, so I'd like to take this moment to remind us all to look after ourselves, and one another. We might not always know what someone is going through, but we can try our best to be there if they need help.

It can be too damn easy to fall into despair...

One Day at a Time and Together

Almost two years ago, when my brother-in-law passed away, it felt like the world coming to an end, and while it didn't, the day and months ahead would be harrowing.

As his body was quietly taken away my wife and I grieved. It was just the beginning of what was to come. That night, as well grieved and talked, we affirmed that whatever was to come that we would take it 'one day at a time and together'.
