Harvest Fatties Coding Update

I moved a few things around the farm so a Patron only demo is looking more and more possible. I would have liked to have more plants available before uploading a demo to you all but I will figure it out eventually.

Abagail has many heart and weight level ups for the demo.

Harvest Fatties 1st Demo Update

It will be for Patreons only at the moment. I would like to finish figuring out how to have crops for different seasons and more crops in general before uploading a free demo version.

The free demo will be posted on itch .io after I polish the game up a little bit more. I would like the first area to be more complete before uploading on there. It will give me enough of a head start to keep up with demand later on.

Harvest Fatties Coding Update

• I added more lines of code that have to do with weight gain and the heart levels.

• The code for these things is much better than my past code so that is good.

• I did have a minor setback more than once today because I thought I understood some of the coding better than I thought. I finally did figure it all out.

How long should it take to Marry in the game?

Right now I have the game set up to have 1 heart level up per month. It would take 3 years game time to marry Abigail.

Added belly to Abigail

• For now Abigail will have leg and belly weight gain and then after marriage her breast will get bigger.

• I think her pre marriage weights are ready to go. I may tweak something here or there unless I noticed something big I missed

Harvest Fatties Game Plan

• Game will expand further means that I may add a town or other areas of the game such as forests, caves, a combat system. More girls will be added to the game such as Shantae for example. More will be talked about as the game develops.

Official Patron 3 Update

1 game demo a month. I will have to get one ready for Harvest Fatties. I apologize on the delay for it.

Right now my focus is on the island only at the moment. Improving this first area as much as I can before I move on to the next game or expand on this one. I haven't decided yet if this game should focus only on the island or expand further like Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley does.

Animation Test Abigail Harvest Fatties

I have taken some of the animations a few steps further than My Fatty Girlfriend.

In the world of weight gain though it would take a lot of time to add to many animations for 2d for lower weights. Then I would have to make it for all the weights.

If the characters stayed skinny, then it would be a different story though. Of course, more animations would be added because there would be no size increases.

She probably won't gain any weight...

Abigail Animation Update Harvest Fatties

I spent a lot of time last night tweaking the shop Abigail. I added eye blinking and mouth movement. I also tweaked a lot of other behind the scenes things with her. I spent many hours on it so it's stuff you can't see but was necessary for making it possible for her to hold different items, wear a different necklace, wear different boots, growing in weight etc.

Abagail Animation Update Harvest Fatties

There may be an animation here or there where you may see her jiggling around unexpectedly, but I think so far most of the animations will be after she is married to your character.

I did manage to get some jiggle effects working too.

All these are huge improvements from My Fatty Girlfriend.

Harvest Fatties Bird shadows update

It was a bit more challenging than I thought but I managed to get one of the bird flying methods down. I notice that sometimes birds will just hover around in a circle slowly in the air. That is the 1 I added for now.

I may add more birds or shadows or birds later on. I just have to think of how to add shadows of fish. It should be pretty easy. All this just adds a bit more life to the game and makes it more interesting.

Harvest Fatties Future Plans

I don't want the game to be exactly like Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon but the game will be inspired by them.

Stardew Valley started off looking similar to Harvest Moon at first then as the game developed it got its own twist to it. I would like that to be the plan with this game. For it to eventually have its own unique twist on farm life.

Harvest Fatties Art Update

I am going to be doing 3D art on spare time at the moment.

The game will be 2D art. I will look at the art so far and pick the better styles that I am stronger at right now.

Harvest Fatties voice lines

I figured out how to add more variety of voice lines for the game. I can now improve My Fatty Girlfriend also if I wanted to.

Before I could only have 1 voiceline per level up. Now I can have as many as I want. Huge improvement!

• Any person you marry will collect the animal products each day. I am thinking about this now... This will give the wife a lot more purpose in the game. HOWEVER, this is just a thought now. For awhile I think the current auto collect system is fine without being married but it would make being married way more important for auto farming.
