I wanted to redesign most of the "Super Princesses." But some of them don't need redesigns, like Ninji from Minus8. I have to admit, that guy has a lot of talent for character design.

I felt like drawing Yoshette — she’s one of my favorites. I didn’t really like the version of Princess Peach with the green dress, so I designed this one to fit my style better. I also thought it was funny imagining her trying to help Mario without realizing how incredibly provocative the situation is.

Mario encounters his first enemy, although it's bigger and not as easy to crush as usual.

We started NNN and we started with problems. Without realizing it, I had the resolution very low when I started inking this page, and by the time I realized it, I had already drawn the entire background and several characters. I inked the characters from scratch, but I was too lazy to do the background and just increased the resolution.

I hope it's not too noticeable.

I've been thinking that this year I'd like to try it again with NNN. This time, we'd follow the story of Mario, transformed by the Super Crown, who has to save Princess from the evil Bowsette while trying not to get distracted by the numerous enemies that await him along the way.
