Artist note: I'm slowly understanding how to shade darker tone characters, literally baby steps for me lmao. 

As you noticed with this piece, I looked up a few references of photos and a few artist pieces on how others shade darker tone characters. I think the hardest part is trying to keep a balance of dark and light values within a greenish environment, I guess it looks okay enough.

As we come near to the end of this year, I noticed I have improved in terms of my artwork yet I feel there are areas I want to focus on, pushing myself beyond steps as well but also combating many obstacles. Finally finished it after having the unfinished pic in my folder for so long. Also, have it recorded, time-lapse of the drawing. In the attachment!

Unfortunately the sketch wasn't recorded cause I forgot to turn the option on when I found out :')
I was very nervous sharing a time-lapse of this pic cause of the mistakes I made during the process and me trying to make the lighting look pretty.

Here we go, I'm pretty excited to be drawing Queen of Dragons, Alextrasza. Dragons have always been my thing, and I love Alextrasza design both humanoid and draconic.

I haven't forgotten her adornments in the first pic.

So this is gonna be an interesting project to work on. The idea was suggested by lovely patrons.

Sweaty with a big package (NSFW-ish)

Finished flatcoloured commission for StairCat of their snek man, Veleno.

Snake scales are so weirdly strange for me, I tried to get the pattern down right but it kind of failed a bit in the end, though the expression and the rest of the picture takes the attention away from that. 

I'm pretty happy with the results though. :)

I still yet to understand indoor lighting the posing wise was difficult, especially with it being in an angle with three characters. But overall proud of myself for attempting to finish it.
