I like to start out my pieces on sketch or mixed media paper, and finish it up with my sakura micron pens before moving into the final work. Here I actually was going to do Shoto’s white hair but I decided to go with the red as I moved into digital. I wasn’t very happy with the shading or the anatomy but I think his facial expression looks cute <3
