This time of year is always crazy but this year is EXTRA crazy with the move at work. But we have almost everything packed (in 3 days!!) And movers are scheduled to put the boxes into storage units. So, hopefully time for costumes again soon.

Friday is very Friday this week.
Work is crazy - we are definitely moving the bookshop to an entirely different location! So I've been packing and stuff all week. And managing a liquidation sale at the shop so we dont have as much to move.
Plus there are all the usual pre-christmas gift buyers, which i actually love because i am killer at finding gifts for "guys who waited until the last minute to buy something for their wife or gf" and it's always fun to be doing something Im ...

This week has been a lot of twelve hour days in goblin mode - i put in a lot of computer time for work this week. But as a special treat we get a photo of the Void! Kitty Wan Kenobi is almost impossible to photograph, he is camera shy and ALSO entirely black so it's hard to even get candids.

This is the time of year where i plan for next dragoncon so im going down the list. My dr mrs costume needs serious work.
However i found a bra pattern (galina by madalynne) that should help a lot
Last night my friend took me (and a group) to see a production of jekyll & hyde the musical at a local theater where a friend of hers works. They did it in a steampunk theme, and encouraged the audience to dress up.
Being that it was a small theater, I had small expectations and was prepared to be supportive of an admirable effort from a local cast with a presumably somewhat limited budget.
I was BLOWN AWAY by the quality of the production! I've seen a lot (a LOT) of shows...
