Today's cameo is Thenyr, who belongs to Arrow Quivershaft. If you're a $10+ donator, you get to put a character in the Cameo Rotation! (If you qualify, see my previous post about adding your character to the rotation).

Another comparison shot. The old Starbu... Novadeer on the right (98 prim land impact!) and the new on on the left (only 6 prim land impact!) I did make some changes to the building, but it really didn't need the second floor, esp the way the interior looked in the comic.
I feel like I've been really unproductive, I only did two buildings in the past two days. But I do have this to show off. I obviously have a lot of cleanup to do. But I installed mountains. I've got some townhouses up. I still need to make sure everything is the proper size, since the town is about 1/3 normal avatar size. (That's why my avatar looks like a giant on that apartment building.)

I made two new apartment buildings for the Kaerwyn town. The one in the middle (Worlds Apartment) is Niixa's new apartment build, and the one on the right is the old one.
I made the mistake of letting Ringtail name it.
The new fountain is finished, and it's in place now on the town-scene set.
The Medical Center got a huge upgrade.
Kayla Stonecutter made all of these objects for me. I've been doing the textures on them and tweeks here and there. We still have to make a bunch of different textures for the building types, so we have some diversity going on.
I haven't yet started the cover for the comic, so I might need another week to take care of that.

Starting to wonder if this issue is going to hit 100 pages.
Spent all day texturing this model. Should be easier to make different textures on it now that I have the basic shading and stuff down.
But you can see the quality difference.
So the good doctor was lucky enough to be driving his medical van through the rift when he found himself on Kaerwyn. Originally I used an Astro Van mockup on SL. But I decided to upgrade his van a little bit, so the newer, above version is based on a Mercedes Sprinter. Both of these are used as mobile medical vans in some places, but the Sprinter is a better option for this.
Fun fact: Riley Aldemar is not from Earth. But they do have some similar vehicles.

Are you guys interested in seeing my work on Second Life (SL) for the Kaerwyn and commission BGs?
Here's some stuff I've been working on. During the downtime between Issue 9 and Issue 10, I'll be redoing the entire K-town build on my island in SL.

Not real happy with the way this one came out but I was running kind of late on it, so it is what it is.
Before I go on, I have an account on Swaggerdile, which is Tigerdile's version of Patreon.
