Mudwing Merchant

Really wanted to design a merchant character, inspired by pack yak's and oxen.
Decided to make him a Mudwing, one who grew so large and bulky at such a rapid pace he can no longer fly, so he became a walking merchant and craftsman, crafting his own jewelery , while also selling knick-knacks, blankets, light food items, and leather. 

Can't decide on a name though.

My first attempt to design a potential adopt!

Just some really rough doodles. I know I want super pointy wings. 

A Sky/Sea who is not particularly great at swimming or long flights like his kin, but was able to combine the two skills into some deadly techniques, mostly for hunting fish in the ocean, becoming far more skilled at hunting than either tribe.

I'm thinking about doing more of these when I do my own personal studies. I'll work on format to make it more understandable.

But this is the majority of my thought process. Secondary is muscle structure, the shape language somewhat covers skeletal structure with how mobile parts of the body are (or aren't). 

Is there anything in particular you're interested in seeing me breakdown/make a tutorial of?
