Update on the next video & project Marbais, E30 320i

Just wanted to give you a quick update and progress on things.

The next video is taking longer than usual since I had a lot to do these past couple of weeks.

The vapor blasting cabinet finally arrived from the UK from Vixen Surface Treatments and it's magnificent! You can see before/after cleaning the parts in the cabinet, the finish is amazing.
Took me a couple of days to set up the machine, then Mark from Vixen came and we did little filming, explaining how the machine...

I Got a FREE BMW E39 528i Touring Individual - Project Liedingen: Part 1

Just finished editing this video!

As mentioned before, super nice Patreon Timo has given me this glorious E39 Touring Individual with the mighty M52 2.8L straight-six engine.
It's awesome! I'm already contemplating to fix it up now and use it as a daily this winter. E39 is magic!

Hope you enjoy this one and thanks to Timo again!

P.S. I'll be likely getting a crashed M5 soon for the reasons I shall explain soon :)

Update on the previous update on project Chicago, Alpina B7

I wanna express my biggest gratitude to all of you for joining Patreon and kindly supporting me, the channel, and the projects! Thank you, thank you!

Newest Alpina update -- on the last update I told you I'm going with a brand new block. Well, change of plans.

My correspondence with Alpina has been abysmal. First it took them over a week to tell me the price for a new block and the guy told me 4.250€ over the phone, but forgot to mention that's without tax. With tax, i...

Adventurous BMW E34 M5 Inspection & Drive - Project Marta - Part 1

Direct link - https://youtu.be/IXTzDduRXbM

Finally E34 M5 on the channel! Sadly not mine, but Misha Charoudin's. In case you don't know him, he makes vlog type of videos at the Nurburgring.

Misha imported it from Russia through Poland and I told him a long time ago I'd help him with the project. I do have a rule of working on only my own cars, but I did say I'd make an exception for some special cars and this is...

Update on project Chicago

First of all, we recently went over 1.000 Patreons which is just amazing! Thank you so much! It means a lot to me.

After bad news with Alpina, time for good news. I've decided we are going to fix this thing and rebuild the engine.

Thank you for the recommendations in the previous post, I reached out to all of them and here are the narrowed down options:

1. Buy a new block from Alpina for around 4.250€. I asked if they wanted to participate in the project in some w...

Sad news on project Chicago, the Alpina B7

First of all, I want to thank all of you for being here! Since the last video, we gained more Patreons and many upped your level, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Now onto the bad news. Right after I posted the last video on here, I went to the shop to unload some of the parts that arrived. I had some time to kill and decided to look inside the cylinders with the endoscope, something I haven't done before, but should've.

When I got invoices from the previous owner, I ...

Broken Alpina Is Hiding Secrets and a NAIL, Literally - Supercharged B7 - Project Chicago: Part 2

Direct link - https://youtu.be/SMfC4LLMJgM

We are continuing with Alpina!

I was so curious to see what's wrong with the engine that I had to put E30 on hold and tear into this thing. Lots of surprises and one unbelievable discovery.

This quickly turned into a bigger job than rod bearings on E60 M5.

Also, another new video within 7 days of the last one, don't get used to it :D

How do you like it though? Think this will make for exciting series.

Cheers!

Let's Make It Roadworthy Again - Classic BMW E30 320i 5-speed - Project Marbais: Part 5

Part 5 of project Marbais has landed!

The beautiful E30 is roadworthy again! But it wasn't a pass from the first, more on that in the video.

We also have an old friend make an appearance. Felix, a young upholsterer from Ranstadt is showing us how to rewrap M-Tech 1 steering wheel with new leather.

I'm so happy how this car is progressing. There will be one more final episode on this project (for now) where we are going to detail the paint and interior. After that, time to hi...

Project Chicago arrived!

Alpina landed in Frankfurt early on Tuesday morning!

Lifts and equipment from Bendpak landed the day prior so I haven't even had a chance to look over this glorious turd. Just snapped these 3 pics and parked it. The battery is kaput and the mandatory check engine light is there, I already love it. Not sure when the video will come, but I'll keep you posted.

Yesterday and today all day I was installing lifts with Luuk from the Netherlands. Liftmotive is his company and he's the of...

Oh, yes! It's very much alive and kicking!
More details will follow in the video, but this car is a massive surprise.

I'm stuck waiting on parts before I can finish the video. The middle silencer has a hole in it and I ordered a new one 5 days ago. Got it today only to find out they sent a completely wrong exhaust. So I ordered a new one from the dealer and shou...

Update on project Castellón E21 and project Marbais E30

Howdy folks!

I know it's been a bit, but don't worry, I've been busy and working on reviving the E21 323i all this time. I'm at it for 2 weeks now.

This piece of destruction is the hardest, worst condition car I ever attempted to revive. It was sitting for at least 26 years and everything is destroyed. The cooling system is, well, disgustingly disgusting. Never seen so much varnish in the fuel system...

Anywho, I'm done with filming and I'm starting to edit the video, hope...

Update on the new video

Hola amigos!

Just wanted to give you a little update.
I'm currently working on project Marbais, the E30. It's going to be a looong wrenching video where we do bunch of repairs, should be fun. We also hunt down a mouse.

The bad part, It'll be around week and a half before it comes out. I'm visiting my parents for the next 5 days hence the delay. I haven't seen them before covid started so I had to take a little break for that now.

Still need to replace the oil pan wh...

Project Marbais is coming home!

Michel is the original owner of this classic E30, bought in July 1983 and delivered on 15th October 1983. Original purchase invoice and complete service history included! He used it as a daily for many years, then around the 2000s, he had the rust removed and repaired and...

New project inbound!

Say Hallo to project Chicago!

That's right, finally an Alpina on the channel!
2008 Alpina B7, black on black, 128k miles, loaded, Texas car all its life with a clean title.

I was not looking for a BMW with a famously "reliable" N62 engine, but it rather found me. A nice viewer from Chicago, Antonio, emailed me and said he has a broken but running & driving Alpina B7. They were always out of my price range so I wasn't expecting it would work out but then he responded ...
