“The latter Pennacook legend of the ‘creature at the stones’ follows the predictable path proscribed by classic ‘tainted lands’ legends. Perhaps in pre-history, the architects of the stones to which the Pennacook ascribe such malevolence (for surely the Pennacook had nothing to do with their construction) warred with the Pennacook, or the stones marked some border between the two groups. The truth may never be known.”

We received the test copy of the Delta Green slipcase today, and it looks great. Dig that crazy embossing (it's actually the pattern from the original 1997 Delta Green book!).

Here are six rituals for the Delta Green Handler’s Guide, which we cut due to lack of space. The psychic abilities, for example, would have required a section on the presence of psychic powers in the setting, as well as notes for the Handler on the risks of giving such potent abilities to players (we’ve provided some notes). It seemed wiser to save them for the PISCES book, which deals with psychic Talents directly (and they will be addressed in more detail there). The “Dreaming Door” ri...

It's the 90th anniversary of H.P. Lovecraft's The Call of Cthulhu, which was first published in Weird Tales Magazine in February 1928.
To celebrate the occasion (and because I am terribly sick and am having difficulty concentrating) I decided to draw an image of Old Castro, a survivor of the Cthulhu cult who gave Inspector Legrasse insight into the ancient rituals of the group. Here he is as a computer desktop, for patrons only!

Hey guys, I've started running a new Delta Green operation called, AND THE DARKNESS SPOKE, set in Queens, New York, in 1986. We'll be playtesting it on Roll20.net, as well as (eventually) live-streaming it. You can watch episode 1 on Youtube here.
But more interesting is the CREATION of such work. I've attached the (very much work-in-progress) chain of clues for the operat...

What the others didn't understand is that it had won. It got out. We let it out. Though we didn't want to. We did it. We're the ones who killed the world. I told them. I told command. And what did they do? They sent me on my way. They waggled their fingers and threatened to send me upstate.
The book was very clear. Skin to skin. Ingestion. Could it be airborne? Who knows? Last year I decided not to take the chance anymore. The respirator chafes sometimes, but it's better than...

For those who pitched in on the Delta Green Kickstarter and bought what was then called THE CASE OFFICER'S HANDBOOK (but which is now called the HANDLER'S GUIDE), we have good news. You'll get a free slipcase along with a copy of the AGENT'S HANDBOOK and HANDLER'S GUIDE; pictured above.
It's currently in China being printed. We should have physical copies back to the creative team in April, and the finals back in May (it has to ship from China via boat). But the long, slow process of printing ...

The Great Race of Yith has long architected the comings and goings of human history and beyond. Coming soon, brought to you by a generous benefactor, a new Operation for Delta Green. In EX OBLIVIONE, Agents are hurled into the sprawling aftermath of a long-closed Delta Green operation in Arizona, and must uncover a threat which is no longer corporeal in nature, existing somewhere beyond control or understanding. There, it finds its revenge murder by bloody murder...

A note to DG Patrons: I'm very happy to announce Patreon has reversed course on those terrible changes. I'd like to thank Jack Conte—sincerely—for making the right call here. It will take time to regain trust in the service, it is true, but this is a strong first step, and it deserves praise. We're still dealing with the fallout from this fake out, but I will say again to patrons ALL OF THE PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED PATREON CHANGES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED.

Hey guys,
We're moving along on finding a solution to our Patreon issues (I'm currently talking to Drip now, and things look good.) I won't be posting stuff past December 18 (the cut off date for their new billing structure) until we have a solution for you. Right now, it's likely we'll keep the Patreon open and those who wish to get access to identical work without all the charging hassle will be able to go to Drip. If (or once) enough people move over, we'll end of life the Patreon—if it c...

I've been on Patreon for awhile. To date, the service has been sometimes frustratingly opaque, sometimes just weird, but it's always been worth it, up until this last policy change. It's made it possible for me to connect with my readers in a way that just wasn't possible previously. But...
How do I feel about the Patreon changes? Well, three guesses. I've filed my grievances with them, but there's very little I can do beyond that. We were not consulted on this, and have no real control o...

I write it all down, but the words that wait for me when I pick my journal (so real, leather, smells of coffee with a red bookmark) remain gibberish. They are not that way when I write them down. The words feel so real. Almost as if they are the only real thing here. Despite this truth, the language runs like wet paint, and I cannot recall what I put down there the time before. I do remember the last place I sat and wrote was warm, with the smell of cinnamon and the feeling of a fire burning som...

Hey guys! Playtest time. Here we have a new one-shot operation for Delta Green from Greg Stolze in the midst of editing and tweaking, out there for the Patreon contributors to enjoy. It includes pregens. Give it a spin and drop me a line to let me know what you think; we're hoping to finalize all feedback on this one before the 10th of December.
