Hello wonderful readers!

It goes without saying August ate the soul out of my roommates and I. Between forced renovations, on and off again job layoffs, and deaths, we've all been rather stressed and overwhelmed. I want to say a deep thank you to everyone for putting up with me during this downtime, and all the kind words and support. You guys are the absolute best. ^.^

Update: COVID continues to hurt me

Yesterday I was delivered the devastating news that my mom passed away due to complications involving COVID. She was my everything as a child and the pain wells up just thinking about it.

I'm still reeling from this and trying to come to terms so my activity will be slowed for a while longer. I deeply apologize for the lack of stories so far this month.

My roommate is taking very good care of me. I just need some time.
