Sketches!

Hi, y’all! While I am in the process of working on a couple of pieces, I thought I would just share a few sketches I’ve had lying around. As you can see now (and will likely continue to see in the future), I sketch A LOT of faces! It’s just what my hand goes to in the immediate when I don’t know what else to draw, and it also feels really satisfying to have something that actually just has a vibe in a way other things might not - I dunno!

Big Patreon Update!

Hi y’all! Just wanted to give an update on the future of my Patreon! So I have decided to reestablish my Patreon by eliminating tiers aside from the first two, and changing a bit of what each tier includes (nothing is really lost in either, but there is more to be gained on the process wrt to the second tier); honestly, I am really looking forward to pushing this experience to be the best for all of us!

Here are some shots of new pages I am working on. Comic/Commissions and New Work

So I have “completed” the pencils on the comic commission, which was a pretty startling challenge, as I realized that fitting in whole narrative into one 9x12 Page was...well, it meant losing some of the detail I typically put into things. I’ll have it inked in the next day or two, but for now let me show you 1) how the page looked when I still had stuff to fix/wasn’t fully sure what I was doing with that third panel, and 2) the more or less finished pencils.

Comic commission I am working on

So unfortunately that comic IS going to have to wait a little bit, BUT at least the commissions that I am working on right now are having a tendency of being things that I am happier to draw (ya know, cool-looking people in leather jackets).
