Hi friends! Hope everyone is doing well on this fine Sunday morning.
So, first thing's first. Here's what's going on with The Petscop Investigation. I have about 7,000 words written at this point. Not too shabby if I do say so myself. Keep in mind that I am working on Parts 7 and 8 simultaneously, so that's why the writing/research phase is taking a bit longer.
In case you missed it, I appeared on Angie Speaks last week:

Wow, I can't believe it's almost October already. I'm mostly been chugging a long this past week. Not much new to report. If you get the sense that my next Petscop video is taking a long time to produce, that's because I'm working on Parts 7 and 8 simultaneously. It's like when Peter Jackson made Two Towers and Return of the King at the same time, or when Robert Zemeckis made Parts II and III of Back to the Future at the same time. It's exactly like that! I'm basically a critically acclaimed ...

Hello! Well, I think the consensus per my last post is fairly clear. So, I'm going to break up my analysis of Petscop into two parts, both of which I think are going to be fairly long. Part 7 will be a close reading of Petscop 17-24 , complete with *clap* footnotes, and Part 8 will be a full blown analysis of the entire series thus far. I've got a fair amount of writing and research done, but I'm not going to lie. This is a huge undertaking, and it's going to take some time. I'll be sure to k...

Hey! So, I have a bit of a quandary for my patrons. I might field some opinions from the general public as well. I'm in the midst of writing The Petscop Investigation - Part 7. And I'm wondering what you think about the structure.
So, I know in my last update I stated that I was going to cover the Easter videos in Part 7, and then the latest videos would be covered in Part 8. However, it has occurred to me that another option might be preferable.
I'm now considering do...

Hello, patrons. Hope all is well. So, I just came across this video on my old laptop and I thought it might be a nice little extra for my patrons. I initially wanted to intersperse a series of short vlogs in my Petscop analysis in order to document my writing/research process. I eventually decided against it for various reasons--who wants to see my big round moon face on the screen anyway? But I did record a few of these in the preliminary writing stage of my first Petscop Investigation...

Hey patrons. Hope you're having a wonderful Sunday afternoon. As you probably know by now, the writing phase of the Petscop Investigation - Part 7 is underway. Things are really starting to take shape. Honestly, this is my favorite part of the process. Every time the workload gets frustrating, I just remind myself how much I love these specific moments. So, I can give you a few details at this point. Part 7 is going to focus on videos 17 through 21. And after that, I'll immediately begin work...

Hello, my wonderful patrons. Hope everyone is doing well. I myself have been getting over a bit of a head cold this past week, so I'm afraid I haven't been terribly productive. There are no new videos on the horizon at this point, but I am feeling a lot better today. So, I'm looking forward to getting a lot done in the coming week.
In case you missed it, I uploaded a Q&A video a few days ago:

This is the first in a series of semi-monthly Q&A vids, which I'll be releasing exclusively to my $10 or above supporters on Patreon. I figured I would release the first one to the public just to get the word out. Hope my venerable patrons don't mind!

Hi folks. So, I know I said I would be uploading a special reward later this week. My initial plan was to play through Blair Witch in its entirety. Unfortunately, my GPU starting throttling when I filmed this. So, here'a about an hour of gameplay. I'm thinking that I'm going to build a new PC fairly soon, thanks in part to your support! So, if people enjoy this, I'll play through the rest of the game once I have a PC that doesn't crap out on me.

In this installment, I'll be dissecting a fun little horror film by the name of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. If you're a millennial, it’s more than likely that you recognize the source material, the book series upon which this film is loosely based. I myself have fond memories of checking out these books at my grade school library. These unsettling folk tales were retold by Alvin Schwartz and illustrated by Stephen Gammell. Now, I am generally kind of skeptical of projects that ...

Hey folks! Wow, I am really overwhelmed by the number of recent patrons. Hello, and welcome, everyone. I can't express to you enough how encouraging it is to see people support the channel. Thank you so much for your help.
This week has been a bit hectic with my job, so unfortunately I haven't been able to get a whole lot done for the channel. Also, I need to work on my time management. (That's an understatement.) Anyway, I'm really excited about a number of long term projects cur...

It's really encouraging to see people actively supporting the channel on a monthly basis. And with this kind of continual support, I'm going to strive to put out videos on a more consistent basis. Suggestions for topics are totally welcome.
On that note, I'm seeing Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark today. I've heard good things about the pract...
