Hello, folks! I've been working pretty consistently on the script for the next video. But the strangest thing is happening. Every time I open up the doc, I keep thinking of more avenues. So, the length is starting to balloon a bit. It's at about 11,000 words right now. I'm aiming to edit it down a bit over the weekend. The production/editing process is going to take a while, but I'll be sure to keep you posted. It's been a while since I made a video this long. Hope you like it.

Hey, folks! The script for the next video is approaching about 9,000 words. I've taken some time to assess things and, well, it's a bit of a mess at the moment. I'm going to be refining things and perhaps editing it down a bit over the course of the next week or so. I'm excited to finish up the script and start filming.
In the meantime, I'll be posting the schedule for next week's horror movie marathon. Stay tuned! That's all for now. Thanks so much for your support.

Saturday, October 1st: Possum (2018)
Watched this one last night. TW for abuse. Very surreal, atmospheric. Pretty sure it gave me a nightmare.

2022-10-02 15:42:58 +0000 UTC View PostHello, folks. I have been writing pretty much every day for the past week and the script for the next video is approaching 8,000 words (that's roughly an hour of screen time, give or take). I have yet to evaluate the broader state of things but I think it's going to require at least a few thousand more. So, yeah, it's gonna be a long one.
In the meantime, if you've been enjoying the latest eps of You Just Got Cronenberged, you're in for a treat as we have fairly comprehensive Halloween ...
2022-09-30 23:00:11 +0000 UTC View PostHey, folks! Here's the second installment of You Just Got Cronenberged, a special Nightmare Tonight miniseries in which my cohost Kayla and I dissect the work of horror director David Cronenberg. In this lengthy tirade, we talked about The Dead Zone. Enjoy!
2022-09-27 17:03:50 +0000 UTC View PostHey, folks. Still in the writing/research phase for the next video. It's shaping up to be on the longer side. Hoping to finish up the script soon but it's proving to be challenging with my current workload. Will keep you posted.
In other news, I should have a new pod for you next week. It's the next volume of You Just Got Cronenberged. We'll be covering the 1983 film adaptation of The Dead Zone. Stay tuned.
That's all for now. Thank you for your support!
2022-09-23 19:53:36 +0000 UTC View PostHello, friends. I'm still in the writing/research phase of the production process for the next video. It's taking a while because I'm reading a book as a sort of companion piece to the work I'm analyzing. (It will probably make more sense when the video comes out). Lots of note taking going on over here! Also, I should have some more extra stuff coming your way soon. That's all for now. Thank you so much for your support.

In this installment, I’ll be inspecting a mysterious work by the name of The Hypnagogic Archive. In some sense, it is a work that defies the type of explanation and analysis one typically comes across on YouTube. And this is precisely why I felt the need to cover it.
While it is hypothetically possible that The Hypnagogic Archive is the product of multiple authors and creators, these various materials have very clearly been crafted in such a way so as to cultivate a cohesive art...

Hey, folks! Since this video is taking a while to finish, I wanted to share a special sneak peek. This is the first segment of the video. It's admittedly a bit choppy. Probably going to give it another pass to clean things up. It's looking like the runtime for the full video will be about 40 minutes. Hoping to finish up the editing process over the next week or so. Enjoy!

In this installment, I'll be talking about a movie called We're All Going to the World's Fair, which premiered at Sundance last year. It is the directorial debut of Jane Schoenbrun, and I would say it is very impressive for her first feature length film. Schoenbrun referred to this project as an “emo horror movie,” and I think that’s an apt description.
