Patreon paused until next update

Hi Everybody,

Sorry I've been so quiet lately. These past few weeks, I haven't even been on Discord. I haven't had any particular personal crisis, just general stress about the current pandemic and never leaving my apartment.

I should have had the new Night Games update finished by now, but I've essentially gotten nothing done this month. Therefore I am pausing my Patreon billing this month, and keeping it paused until I release the update, which I should be able to do in April. 2020-03-31 21:41:54 +0000 UTC View Post

It's been a while since the last public release. In case you are a new player or don't remember my release formats, there are two file formats attached to the post. The Jar file will run on any OS as long as you have Java 8 or newer installed. The Zip file contains an executable that is Windows only, but is bundled with its own copy of Java.

Increased the difficulty of snapping out of Enthralled early

Fixed not being able to continue after Yui's double exposure scene

Fixed catching someone in a spiderweb trap not taking a turn, and hopefully an associated crash

I have a fix for the bugs that have been reported since last time. I was kinda expecting some more to pop up over the weekend, but I guess no news is good news.

Bugfix 2:

Increased the difficulty of snapping out of Enthralled early

Fixed not being able to continue after Yui's double exposure scene

Fixed catching someone in a spiderweb trap not taking a turn, and hopefully an associated crash

Night Games PW Bugfix 1 is out

I just uploaded bugfixes for both the patron and premium versions to fix the issues reported last night and this morning. The most serious one being the crash at the end of the season.

The bugfix versions are attached to the original release posts, so scroll back down to grab them.

Night Games PW update is now available to patrons

Hi Everybody,

The new update is now in its patron release window. If you are a patron, scroll down a post or two to download the game. 

I mentioned this a couple months back, but this is the first updating it's applying to: The window between patron release and public release is now three weeks. This update will be available to everyone on 9/21.

Change to our Release Schedule

Hi Everybody,

I want to announce a change to our Patron and public release schedule. Currently Patrons get access to new content updates for Night Games a week before they are released to the public. This is intended to thanks the people who have supported the game and made it possible to continue producing content. However, much of this week is usually spent finding and fixing bugs, so Patrons often had little time to just play and enjoy the game before the public release.

Public Release delayed to Wednesday 2/27

I apologize for this delay, but I'm pushing back the public release 4 days.

The first and most basic patron reward I offer is getting access to the game a week before it goes public. Unfortunately this update had some nasty bugs at launch, so a lot of people couldn't really play it until the bugfix I released on Wednesday. Night Games - On Top of the Game is now available to patrons
