This song got famous in my country through some reality show where a contestant started jamming it and singing it quite nicely it must be said.. Now more than 10 years later its still a classic, and I'm happy to cross it off the list. Hope you like my version!

I thought this would fall under the relatively new requests so I was quite surprised to see that the song is more than 10 years old... and counting! Cool melody, that is largely the same as John Legend's all of you, and maybe therefore cool :).

My favorite reference to this song is a scene from the movie vanilla sky (one of my favorites,) where Tom Cruise is brought into the OR, heavily sedated, and he's singing this song very loud while being in danger. Love the scene, but also the song. I hope you like my simple version, music lends itself good for a piano version I think.

Metallica - Nothing Else Matters

Hi dear Patrons,

This one was difficult, even though the song itself is quite easy, the whole thing about missing an orchestra or doing the thing with one instrument kind of takes stuff away from it. As a bummer on top, the key sensitivity of my piano is breaking down and sometimes it hits the notes very loud, as you can hear at the end. Not fun! But we'll work with what we have.. Bob Dylan - Blowin' in the Wind

Hi dear Patrons, 

For some reason this song gets me... and for some reason (maybe the same) I'm not the only one this happens to. In all its simplicity (even where you could have used a fourth chord he re uses the third) the melody forms such a brilliant guidance for the amazing lyrics.. Its a masterpiece. 

the simplicity means its also a simple song to learn. If Id have to recommend a starting point for piano beginners, try this one out.
