I cleaned up a couple of projects and made them ready to share as scenefiles. Just a quick note: I can´t share textures/assets where I don´t have the copyright. So just use your own HDRI´s for example.
Let´s start with the X-Particles Asteroidbelt setup. Be sure to tell me, if something isn´t working as expected.
Sadly, I can´t share the Buddhas Head scenefiles. The filesize is just too big, but I will share lot´s of other files;-).<...

Let´s build a Planet, give it some atmospheric effects and surround it with an Asteroid Belt! We push the X-Particles setup far and give it it´s final touches in Part 2 (next week). In Part 1 of the Galaxy Tutorial we go through the X-Particles setup to achieve beautiful Nebula Effects. In Part 2 it´s all about making it beautiful and turn these little dull particle points into shiny bright Stars;-).

I want to share these 13 Octane Materials with you. They go by the illustrious names Frenchman, Anaconda, Teatime, Olympia, Keanu, Snickers, Ikea, Firefighter, Mogli, Vineyard, Savana, Predator and Upgrade.
