This potion is based on the Minilith.
Being stuffed into a dark bag of holding, tossed against the helmets of friends and foes or ground down to serve as a plug for a peculiar potion – a minilith doesn’t really mind what happens to it as long as it doesn’t have to stand around any longer...

Strong it stands, yet lost and forgotten. Time? Time has no meaning in the world of the minilith as it watches all flora and fauna around it flourishing just to perish again. Over its endless decades of observing, it has learned much and forgotten even more. While its magic gives life, the minilith itself is caught in a downward spiral of gray solitude and sallow emptiness. Up until it is picked up and carried along. These are the memories, the minilith holds on to; these are the moments,...

Not only does this peculiar creature have a strong love to rocks, pebbles and boulders; it is also said to be a tremendously diligent companion as well. It is loyal and somewhat enjoys to serve – as long as itself and moreover its favourite stone is treated with respect. Adventurers appreciate its cunningness, courtesy and general ability to calmly adapt to any challenge it might have face. The only times a turnstone gnome gets overly agitated is when: it finds a new beloved stone; when...

This potion is based on the Specklet.
In the literal heat of combat, potions exposed to the elemental powers of a burstin specklet have a slim chance to catch its fire – to condense it, to drown it and to release it when needed.

Don’t let its appearance fool you: the blockhead herring is by no means an odd-looking goldfish. In fact, it isn’t a fish at all but a quite vigorous elemental. Underneath its shiny scales, it carries the slumbering magic of rock and stone. Gemstone to be more specific – the very reason the blockhead herring is sought after by many treasure-hunting individuals. Once it draws its last wet breath, the glittering creature petrifies in a most precious way – just to sink down into the ...

The specklet – a peculiar creature born from the glimmering cradle of elemental fire. Once the flames have settled and the heat has vanished, it arises from the gray dust. Thereafter, the specklet spends a literally unburdened life carried by wind and weather. Most adventurers will never learn of this elemental’s subtle existence. Those who are far too careless with their igneous spells and fiery incantations, however, won’t be able to ignore an approaching flock of specklets...

This potion is based on the Stumpgrub Faerie.
A delicate mixture made from the tiny yet sturdy wings of the stumpgrub faerie. Any wings taken by force, however, lose their magical capabilities in an instant. Luckily, they regrow. Unfortunately, most stumpgrub faeries are quite stubborn when it comes to handing them over...

Hard as a rock, sturdy as a trunk. The stumpgrub faerie is a most peculiar creature hailing from the realms of fable and tales. While it doesn’t look like the most typical representative one might expect when stumbling upon a faerie, it surely shares many other traits with its genus. Adventurous travellers know it too well as a devious, playful and more than cunning encounter; not evil per se but mischievous to quite a harmful extend. After all, being teleported just to be dropped mid-a...

The scribbler entered this world solely for the vile purpose to annoy and disrupt. In no way does it follow any script or other-worldly agenda besides keeping in line with the pitch-black trail it hastily draws. Each letter it writes and each splodge it splatters holds the scribbler’s arcane knowledge, captured in ink and ready to be released in a sudden burst of unguided magic.

When a world is destroyed, sliverlings intuitively know. These mouthless, bipedal mammals flock to the wreckage, plant seeds from across the void of space, and cultivate new ecosystems in the floating debris. They are cosmic gardeners drawn to magical upheaval. If and when they find some artifact of the destroyed world – some relic that points to the cataclysm that tore each realm asunder – they safeguard it. Only wise and ethical creatures are permitted to learn the secrets of such r...

The flowerling is a cryptic being from the plane of whimsical fairies and fabulous tales. It is most peculiar blend of fey and plant, blessed with cunningness, charm and a certain fondness for chaotic affection. It surrounds itself with positivity, or calm indifference at least. The flowerling’s presence is of toxic nature but still: many creatures of all kinds are seeking for its blessing and, a flourishing flowerling is considered a quite exquisite companion among botanists, eccentric...

The potion blob is one of the countless manufactured creatures crawling, slithering or buzzing around Tisdor Dwindleteeth III’s study. Like many others, the cunning necromancer set it free for mainly two reasons: for one thing, he felt at least some kind of affection for his creations and wouldn’t want them to suffer. For another thing, Tisdor Dinwdleteeth III had this strange fondness for annoying the citizens of Falbheim. Free from its glassy cage, however, the potion blob usually f...

A tiny glimpse of a world beyond imagination.
Those who watch the stars and study the currents of magic consider the drifted spirit to be a most remarkable anomaly – just as rare as peculiar. Its motives are puzzling and some even claim that the drifted spirit is more akin to a straying being than a messenger of fateful significance; an entity of celestial origin lost in a strange world and trying to hide from the creatures that dwell within.

No one knows for sure which abyssal pit the bellyfish emerged from. Floating on the water surface, it lingers near busy trading routes or close to buzzing coastal cities and towns. Wherever humanoids may cross its wet path, it waits – sometimes in great numbers; usually all by itself. Still, the bellyfish is never alone. Above the water, it emits playful squeaking sounds to lure its land-dwelling prey. Beneath the surface, however, these sounds mutate to an eldritch, bell-like chant, st...

Thorntails, they call themselves – a mysterious order of lizard-like folk. Emerging from the darkest crevices, their agents crawl the nights on their quest; a quest that is inexplicable to most. The awakening is near, they mumble in their search for “long-lost knowledge” and “vanished artifacts”. Any inconspicuous object others would consider to be junk is eagerly carried away: simple recipes, bland notes, broken forks, old coins, worn out socks – they are all treasures “of ...
