We've been hard at work behind the scenes and we're excited to share a bit of what's coming up.
We will be recording with a few guests in the next few weeks that should be a bit different than what you're used to so far.
1. Tim Russ - Actor, Musician, and Amateur Astronomer. Probably most well known as Tuvok on Star Trek Voyager.
2. Emily Lakdawalla of the Planetary Society.
3. Jonathan Townsend of Townsends and Sons. He runs a channel dedicated to exploring the 18th Century lifestyle.: https://www.youtube.com/user/jastownsendandson
Next week we return with Part 1 of a two part episode with Avi Loeb. We felt it was necessary to get a very clear and detailed interview with him on the subject of Oumuamua, but the two parter dives into plenty more from there. It's definitely a nice continuation from our very first episode and the audio quality is much better.
We are waiting for confirmation on a few other guests that we will be very excited to share with all of you. 2019 is going to be a fun one. Thank you for all of your support! As always if you have any questions or comments you'd like us to bring up with the above guests, leave them below or message us directly.
Thanks,
EH - Team

We are doing a quick 10-15 minute video with a guest on the New Horizons fly-by of Ultima Thule. Will post it here first but it will be going live rather quickly afterwards. Since it is last minute we are going to open it up for everyone to get questions in. If you have any questions, post them and we will do our best to use them.
Thanks and Happy New Year!

We will be posting the Seth Shostak episode here in the next hour or so.
In the mean time, here are some updates.
Decembers schedule:
Next week

12/20 David Kipping (will be posting a submit your questions post later today for him)
Week of Christmas through New Years - Massive amounts of clips including, Paul Sutter, Avi Loeb, Robert Zubrin, Karen Meech, and more. (Bonus clips tier will be getting those first starting next week)
We are recording with more guests next week but we will make a separate post about that.
One thing we'd love to know from all of you is TOPICS and DREAM GUESTS. Almost nothing and no one is off limits. And all of you get priority.
Also for the first QnA we are going to post a poll asking how the 4 patrons would like to conduct that, skype, google chat, discord?
AND we may be having either the Fraser Cain episode or the David Kipping episode as a youtube premiere with JMG in the chat during the premiere of the episode (patron one on one chat will happen first and we promise will be farrrr more indepth than a text chat)
Thank you again for all of your support!

We will be recording soon date TBA and TBD with a few fellow Youtubers.
Fraser Cain, of Universe Today!
and
Cody, of Cody's Lab!
So if you have some questions or subjects you'd like us to cover with either of them, feel free to leave them here in this post. (James if your replies disappear message us directly)
Just as an FYI, we are possibly going to spend a segment or two with Cody on some scenario's, like what if he was in Mark Whatney's situation from the Martian. Would he do anything differently? The same? How about any of the stressful situations during the Apollo missions? What would he absolutely have to take with him if he were to live on the moon or mars?
Just some ideas to kick things off.

Here is today's episode, What is Oumuamua? With Dr. Karen Meech.
We had to re-upload this episode, and we apologize that it's not getting to you sooner. Unfortunately, we deal with people who do not know how to use Youtube's copyright system correctly (or are doing it on purpose) and the tag Creative Commons clips as copyrighted as their own work when it's a clip from NASA or Hubble. So when this happens, we have two choices, fight the claim which can take up to 30 days for the claim holder to respond, or re-edit the video and re-upload.
And being that this episode was done on Monday of this week, it all happened with little to no time to get it to all of you ahead of release. So, our apologies.
So as a thank you and a thanksgiving treat, we will give you a choice watching of one of the bonus clips coming out next Thanksgiving week early.
Dr. Loeb?
Paul Sutter?
or Dr. Meech?
Thanks again for your understanding and support!

Our Thursday episode was set to be Seth Shostak this week, however after recording with
Dr. Karen meech today we decided to do a switch. So tomorrow we will be releasing a preview segment of her discussing Oumuamua. And thursday a full episode with Dr. Meech. The rest of November will stay the same schedule wise, and Seth Shostak will now be the first episode in December.
Thanks!

This happened FAST.
So a quick story.
We emailed Dr. Loeb last night asking if he could come on to discuss his recent paper and he responded that he was in Berlin and could do it that morning. So we decided to make it a long night. The result, is the first, breaking news video on Event Horizon. Dr. Loeb is very kind and we're glad we were able to get this to all of you quickly.

We just got done with a new interview and editing a quick video with....
Dr. Avi Loeb while he was in Berlin and we thought it was relevant enough that it needed to be edited and uploaded right away. So for night owls, early morning risers, and people in Europe, you will be getting some extra Event Horizon in about an hour all about Oumuamua.
Will post it here as soon as it's uploaded.
Thanks!

Hey everyone!
Next week John will be recording with our first audience suggested guest!
Dr. Karen Meech is an astronomer who specializes in planetary astronomy, in particular the study of distant comets and their relation to the early solar system.
http://www.ifa.hawaii.edu/~meech/
We'd love for you to submit any questions or topics you'd like us to discuss with her.
One particular area we will be discussing is Oumuamua, which is in her area of study. So if you have questions about that odd object. Other subjects will be panspermia, landing on comets and collecting samples, etc.
Looking forward to your responses!

This is exciting times and we are lucky and grateful to have the few of you on board after our soft launch of our Patreon (we plan on posting a video later this week or next explaining the tiers and future plans on the channel), and we wanted to get this out there quickly because it's happening fast.
As the title says, we are recording an interview for an upcoming episode of Event Horizon with SETH SHOSTAK, a Senior Astronomer and former Director of Center for SETI Research. So if you have any questions you'd like us to ask, topic areas, things that you've always wanted other hosts to ask Seth (his media presence is prolific) but they never have, this is definitely your chance. If it's appropriate and within reason we will ask him the questions and or bring up the topics. Please also note if you'd like us to name you (first, last, screen name, or none) when John brings up your question or topic.

Sorry for the short notice! We will definitely give you a far longer heads up for the next interview.
