Finally getting to the "interesting" part of this set. It's 200 renders deep now and the renders will be staggered throughout the rest of this year and next year. I can't just render all 200+ renders in one go, that'll mean months of renders and no content dropping.
So this set will not be coming out this year.

Finalized all characters' headshots for the new bios. Aiming for them all to be done January 1st. New writing, new layout, new images.

• Finished Daria x Regina Gas Station Set
Finished the last renders for the Daria x Regina set. It's good to do these sets to test out new character models, environments and props. During the process of this set I've squashed some bugs with Regina and Daria and noticed some missing features like no rear-lights on Daria's car.

Finished Regina's body-bio shots.

Tried assembling the new bio images, found that the portraits were a little too different from each other. Both pose-wise and lighting-wise.
So I've taken the set up that I used for the bio's over a year ago, and used that to frame and light the since improved character models.

Her outfit is made out of one model, but I separated the shirt and pants parts. Luckily the original model was set up in a way that it was somewhat easy to do.
Now she can be shirtless, have her pants opened or pulled down and it has more flexibility in what's possible.

• Gas Station Optimization
Bunch of technical stuff ahead;
So, I wanted to get another preview and it wouldn't load, it was running out of memory so that meant it was time to start optimizing this environment.
I've started sorting out all the areas (like inside the store, all the shelves, all the items on the shelves, the parking area, the area behind the store) and ran a program to see how big all the textures were and how many faces all the models had.

There are no realistic, contemporary environments of gas stations that I could find, so I have to do a very, very elaborate scenebuild and kitbash to get a convincing gas station.
The idea is that it's in a poorer part of town, maybe on the edge of the city, surrounded by more industrial buildings.
Had a lot of trouble finding a building that worked for me, but I found a coffee shop which I'm dressing up as a gas station store.

Added a Reception Room to Yuna's Massage Parlour. Dressed it up appropriately. I didn't want to go full "Eastern" with it's design, but a few flourishes here and there seemed to fit.
I think going full Eastern is a little.. stereotypical, maybe. I also don't think Yuna is super "Eastern" like that, but it's still suitable to have a few references to her original heritage.

Unfortunately, I am unable to get a proper preview and WIP for you for this one, this many characters is too much to render at the same time.
So I had to separate the renders in 5 parts, because some characters are overlapping each other in depth, or standing behind one another.

So we're hitting 25K a bit sooner than expected, we're 10 folks off.
So I need to give priority to this one before I'm super extra late with it.
I've chosen to do an ensemble piece (meaning all characters, even some that weren't on the table), so everyone gets a little bit of what they might've wanted.
