September Sketch 8: Mercy Panther

I want to draw more Overwatch girls in these outfits because the challenge of drawing them actually as the Overwatch character is very fun. Let me know what you think, if this still "feels" like its Ann or not. I tried making sure Mercy looked adult.

Expect lots more sketches this month, they may even get a little weird.

This page is leading up to an action scene, which I'll share soon. The style is also slightly different, I'm trying to find a harmony between webtoon style and manga style.

The project is 46% funded!! So I'm going to try and focus on addressing concerns and criticisms through concept art.

September 2025 Mid Month Update

Hello, I hope you are doing fine. I am currently in the middle of a kickstarter campaign for a large webcomic series called Fightr (click for more info) that I hope can come to life.

Its already over 40% funded! There's around $700 US left to raise and we're only 5 days into the campaign, so I'm feeling hopeful!

But also anxious!!!

I'm working on sharing more characters and concept art throughout the month to promote it, so support it if you think this is something you'll enjoy reading.

Anyways, I am also working on other art alongside this and I do not want to slow down too much with posting, though I'm breaking my morning post routine a bit too much. This update post is just to say that I'm fired up and have lots to share.

Well, I'll get back to drawing, thank you for checking this page out and thank you for supporting in your own little way.

This page shows more of the school and the main character's friends. I'm having a bit of fun with how they're designed but they might change later.

Edit: I've reworked the page style more to try and improve things. I really want to put my best effort into these pages.

The prelaunch kickstarter page for fightr is up, here it is! It contains a bit of information about the project, but prelaunch pages are more of a preview to bookmark for when the campaign actually launches. Interestingly, there's a lot of stuff that goes into a kickstarter page, including checks by the kickstarter staff and categories that I want to fill with different types of art, so it's taking a while but it will be worth the wait.

This is a long page of the characters I've been sharing so far. It's formatted this way for the Kickstarter page so I had fun compiling the images and coming up with the descriptions. I've got to find another way to use the other concept drawings that didn't make it into this sheet.

Fightr Test Page 1

Here's an example of a page of Fightr (this is part of the opening) that I am going to use for the Kickstarter campaign. The pacing is kind of compressed and the panels and text boxes are close together so that the image is not too long. It is a webtoon so when it comes time to actually read it, it'll be a bit more spaced out.

End of August 2025 Update

Another month is nearly over, and it was a very busy one! I still have more to share tomorrow hopefully, so I'd like to take the time to thank everyone who got a commission and everyone who became a new supporter. Also a big thanks to people who have been supporting me for a while now as well as anyone just visiting.

I'm working on some Fightr art and planned to have the kickstarter campaign start on September 1st, but I need more time to build the page and make sure its as good as possible. I'll share what I've got planned for that page soon as well.

This is one of hopefully many proof pages for the Kickstarter I'm working on. I'll be sharing them as I draw them up this week.

I want to draw as many "prototypes" as I can for the kickstarter page and I might experiment with some of the stuff I post here to see what you guys like to see the most. I don't want to make it TOO detailed as if it were a cover page - I'm working on that one still. The goal is to draw what the pages will look like.
