Progress is going according to schedule on this one. I've got the pencil test done this week, and I should be able to have it finished in one more week given that I didn't go and make her linework too complicated. So look forward to next week's update on that.

Apologies that she still ended up moving too fast, especially coming after receiving your feedback on the Samus animation. I know what I need to do now to fix that should I ever do another one of these rotoscoping projects, and whatever the next animation ends up being will definitely focus on slower movement.

To start off for the people who want a downloadable version of the animations going forward, I hope you will accept a watermarked version. The one's I post here will always save  that until the credits, but for now I would feel more comfortable that there was another way for people to know the source if these ever pop up elsewhere.

Ridleying Samus the Animation

I think I've learned more from this animation than any other one I've done in the past. Not only about what it's like to attempt nearly full body motion on a design this detailed, but also the absolute limit on the amount of work I can get done in a week, cuz I said I was gonna have the third part colored by this week's update, and gosh darnit, I did it.

This week I have the first set of frames colored and assembled. It's still kind of a raw assembly as the final version will likely end up looking different when I add in a background or make tweaks to the timing due to whether or not I need to match it up to audio. Ideally I want to have each part done each week, though that third one is so long it might take an extra one.

I wanna wish you all a happy new year, and I'm gonna keep thanking you guys who stick with me. It looked like we were really getting somewhere until January had to roll around. To show my appreciation, I finished not just the middle sketch pass, but end part too. Lucy Juvia Update 21 & Misc.

Almost there! I've added the last few keyframes to the keyframe folder, and sketched the inbetweens for this portion of the animation. All that's left now is to finish the last few frames and put the whole thing together. I've already got plans for what's to come next, so stay tuned!.
