This is my first time legitimately trying to rap (other than the goofy rap in the moana cover) and I actually really really enjoyed it. This cover was a great change of pace, and I feel like I did alright talk/yelling in the style of the heavier cover. I was really really worried I would do a very underwhelming job of rapping, but I'm not super disappointed in myself at least.

Retrospectively, I boosted subs in the bass track last minute thinking it would beef up the mix, and it complete...

I'm way behind on posting (Sorry!!!) because my family has been visiting from out of state. Here's a cover that caleb and I threw together while he was here last month!!

I am also 100% dumb and accidentally overwrote the instrumental project file with the vocal project file....... so, if I wanted to change the instrumental I would have to rerecord it entirely. WHOOPS. First and last time I ever make that mistake!

I'm in Minnesota visiting my parents for the holidays, and (it never fails...) I managed to pick up a nasty throat cold at the airport. I've been coughing up mucus for the past 2 weeks and relaxing with my family since I've had 3 weeks of videos done ahead of schedule in preparation for visiting my parents.

We parked on the top of the ocean cliffs that I used as a location for the Power Rangers & Beauty and the Beast covers, but then we hiked down the cliffs for 20 minutes and walked past a large nudist beach to find the location we ended up using here.

This one was SO MUCH FUN. I was SO CLOSE to just "phoning it in" on this cover and doing generic metalcore like I used to do when I was out of ideas, but I'm glad I put my foot down and went the keytar route. The funk is SO satisfying to record.
