Hola folks... It's the time again. I don't have everything quite done, but I figured I'd post what I do have done before calling it a night. 

So let's start off with this image for Stardust of him and a certain bunny. Rule34 signature is in play.

...and just to give you a sense of scale, here's the Shuttlebus entering one of the docking bays. 

I wanted the Nanti Strides to be a proper 80's starship, complete with model kit parts glued on.

A few months back, when I was working on ideas for what would eventually become the Zero Day project, I queried what locations people would want to see in a Boink-themed visual novel.

ABCLED Font

I don't know if any of you will get any use out of it, but here's the ABCLED font I created, to display the character names in Zero Day,  based on an alphanumeric LED display from a pinball game.

Another quickie little update. Some more character art of Twinkle from Day One, just in flat colors without the tonalities added. 

Attached fullsize PNG, as the original is likely to get scaled down by Patreon. I've learned a few things from another fur who has created a number of VNs, and one of those is to do the character art oversize. Specifically, at four times the size it will eventually be used.

GUI Update

Finally, for this month, here's a look at Twinkle against a backdrop, with a look at the revised GUI I've come up with. The earlier test shot of Cobalt used a GUI that was just whatever I could rough up at a moment's notice. Now that I've had a bit of time to work on the design, this is what I came up with. I may revise it further, as I want the namebox to be a bit rounder and less hexagonal.

iDent Card

A piece of incidental art for Zero Day. This card will give you access to the planet Boink. 

I actually posted this to the Discord a few days back with a cryptic note attached to it:

"In this image there are at least three in-jokes. Two of them are related to the same thing. Can you figure out what they are?"

So far, two people on there have guessed, and neither got it right. Let's see if any of you folks can do better.

Day One Twinkles

Coding has also begun, which necessitated the creation of some new character art. So here's some of that, showing Twinkle in a cute but revealing dress. Since the game opens at Cobalt's skypad on Earth, I felt it was appropriate for Cobalt and Twinkle to start off fully dressed, which meant designing them some outfits. You saw Cobalt's earlier, so here's Twinkle's. 

Don't worry, it will be coming off. 

Skypad Panshot

For the last two requests, I was allowed to work instead on...THE GAME. Zero Day has officially entered production. And what finer way to kick this off than with the opening image, an establishing shot of the skypad. This will be a panned shot, opening on the upper half, of the cloud against the sky, and then panning down to reveal the Skypad among the trees, accompanied by a small piece of original orchestration. 

Comfort Zone

Since I had only one color request this month, I put a bit of extra into it. So here's Caramel Foozle for rnixon, wearing a shirt from a recent meme. I gave it a bit of the shading style I'm using for Zero Day, with a bit of extra atmospherics on top. It came out nicely soft and cuddly, I think.

Next up, for YurY, here's another one of his bunny having some fun with a couple of Foozles. He didn't specify a gender, so I gave them both.

Next up, for Stardust. The request read, in total: "Gruffi Gummi pinup"

The bathing idea was mine. And it stems from my search for reference, while digging through the series again. There's a scene early on in the show where Gruffi is taking a bath, and he has his hat on. Butt naked in the tub, but wearing his hat. (modesty preserved by the bathwater, even after he's lifted several feet into the air.)

Hola my peeps. Hope you all had a spooktacular Halloween. I spent it watching Lovejoy reruns, and drinking Hawaiian Punch out of a ceramic Barrel. 

Anyway, in honor of the holiday which is now in it's waning moments, let's start off with the Halloween-iest of this month's images, with this, the next card in the tarot series for Kith, The Devil, which represents Excessive Indulgence. This is the "wiring" stage, where all the connected events get hooked together, and I start planning how it's all going to work.

Zero Day sneak peek

Have to say. I'm a bit disappointed that my big Zero Day visual novel pitch garnered exactly one positive response. (Thanks Rickochet, your comments are always much appreciated)

In the meantime, I've dummied up a more visual example of what I have in mind. I did one background, and one piece of character art, and stuck them both into renpy with a bit of code to make them work together.

Tornado Followup

For those who were worried by my talk of a tornado in the previous message, we just got the all clear. The rotational center has moved north towards Allentown PA, so we're good.

Anyway, a few more comments about the visual novel: If you look at the JPG I attached to it, the upper section is broken up roughly into "chapters" with the prologue to the story being chapter one. My plan would be to tackle it, and release it on a chapter by chapter basis.
