So last friday i woke up and i was really excited because i expected the Pirate Gems to make a comeback in that episode of Steven Universe. Then i woke up more and realized that there are no Pirate Gems and i had just dreamed of them. So what the hell, i might as well draw them. The captain is a Beta Jasper who stole a homeworld ship during the Gem War on Earth.

I wanted to draw a picture of Esmeralda, since she's not very often seen in Disney fat art. This was the first attempt, with the pose directly referenced from a scene in the movie... I might still do an esmeralda picture in the future, but i don't think this one is drawn well enough to complete.
