Weapon Update 02/09/2024

Howdy everyone. It's been a while since we posted about the G-Jet, our animator fell ill but has since recovered and we have something exciting to show you. We're pumped to be back in full steam production on this and as you can see it's looking gorgeous. We're planning on running an event focused primarily on this bad boy when it's fully out in the wild on the public build and we'd love to hear any of your thoughts and ideas as we start putting that together.

Vehicle Update 02/05/2023

It's been a while coming but finally that moment you've all been waiting for!  It's the new exterior update!

The renders may look similar to the first batch released however this is the completed exterior which previously had several missing details and has had loads of changes since.

The work on the Fridge continues. Here's a few images showing the process of going from Prototype to Alpha art-work as the details get built out on the interior. You can see just how rigorous the art process is to realize something like this at a finished level with these fade-in comparisons.

Vehicle Update 01/11/24

The Fridge trundles towards in-game accessibility. With the holidays behind us our team is back on the grind. The details are being filled out, animations are moving along. We'll be posting some video content soon but for now have a couple more pics of this beast loaded up.

The G-Jet has been shipped off to our animator and is one step closer to public release. S.O.G. Nickel Steel

S.O.G. Nickel Steel is our new and ongoing free workshop mod. It is built to be used along with S.O.G. Prairie Fire. This mod will serve as our delivery mechanism to bring you new assets that we didn't have the bandwidth to build into S.O.G. Prairie Fire. These currently include the AC-119 and the majestic Water Buffalo.

We've decided to build this as a workshop mod because we want the freedom to deliver more experimental assets than we can through official CDLC.

Hey guys, we have some new WIP images to share.   Development is moving along and as you can see our artists and encoders are both working hard, and having fun. 

The LVTP-5 APC has the beginnings of both driver and gunner. As well as a little flash of what they might be used for to get a little R&R.

Vehicle Updates

Hi all. Work on The Fridge continues to roll along. Our vehicle lead Apollo has been working to get this beast moving and you can see some slices of that process in the below pictures and above video. We're clearly a ways out on this joining your in-game combats so for now just enjoy watching those treads climb the hill, savor the engine rumbling, and stay tuned for more.

Guys we're so excited to show off the first pics of this glorious vehicle. You chose it and we're pumped that you did. As you can tell our artist is many hours into his work and these did not just materialize over the weekend. While we're still in the early phases here, what a start huh?

We'll keep updating you as we progress with this project. We'll also have some exciting pictures of the G-Jet in progress a bit later this week so keep your eyes up.

MACV SOG enters the Hall of Heroes

In 2022 we worked with our team-mates at www.modernforces.co.uk to support this fitting memorial display to MACV SOG being created at 5th Special Forces Group HQ at Fort Campbell, KY.

A team from JFK Special Warfare Museum, 5th SFG, and SOA raised funds and support to buy the equipment needed.

Supporting Special Forces medal upgrades

In December 2020, our team was asked to help support Colonel Paris Davis in the campaign to have his Silver Star upgraded to the Medal of Honor. 

Our artist team (Dugong, PapaBear and Whiplash) stepped up and together we recreated the battle of Bong Son from eyewitness accounts, affadavits and through interviews with Colonel Davis himself.  We carried this work out entirely for free. It was our honor.

We have so far amassed over 60 hours of interview footage, including location shoots like this moving moment last year at Fort Bragg's memorial plaza.
