Koopalings! (WIP part 2)

WIP update on the progress of the Koopalings! Next up we have here is Iggy Koopa and Roy Koopa! :)

As far as headcanon goes, I always pictured Roy being the eldest of the Koopalings, the laid back somewhat meat-headed big brother. If anyone is anything close to being a "chad", it's Roy; he'd almost absolutely have an insta to show off his gains and huge muscles. Bowser Jr!

So I was asked about Bowser Jr and how he'd look when he got a bit older, so I did this; Jr. as a teenager! :)

He grows up to be rather tall, but he isn't anywhere near as tall as his old man., but he'll get there eventually. Even as a teen he'd still be every bit the troublemaker, but I always liked the idea that's a bit shyer than his father or any of his siblings, and he's every bit the mama's boy.

Melon's Adventure: OH SHIT! (p4)

Melon bolts as fast as he could across the flat plains of Chomp Chomp Hills, clenching his teeth hard to keep from yelping as another Chompy munched its way through the ground right next to him. Mario had no such reservations and yelled in panic as another lunged at them, tell-tale whistling of its decent warning Melon to make a mad zigzag to dodge it. Dirt clumps and grass ripped underneath his claws at the maneuver. 

The ground shakes upon impact as the Chompie chomp-chomp-chomps...

Melon's Adventure: Adventure We Will Go! (p3)

Melon slows his gallop to a halt once he reached the break through the trees; this cliffside was one of his favorite spots to go to get a good look at the island, and now it served its purpose once more. He could see just about all the island had to offer from here, from the grassy plains to the dense jungles, even as far as the snow covered mountains and burning volcano pits.

It's been a while since the last time he toured the entirety of the island, and Melon felt excitement put a wag...

Melon's Adventure: What do you pack on a harrowing journey? (p2)

Scritch scritch scritch. The sound of charcoal to parchment filled Melon's little hut as he drew away, concentrating hard as he tried to remember all there was to the island.

Chomp Chomp Hills? Check! Crystal Caves? Check! Blargg Jungle,  Lakitu Lookout, Sluggy's Snowdrift, Lava Grove? Check check check! 

Just beyond that is nothing but the sprawling sea, but from the highest peaks of the mountains Melon has seen the tiny island some ways off the coast of Mushroom Kingdo...

Future Content question!

Heyooooooooo ya'll! had a quick question I wanted to run by ya'll and see what ya think. :3 I was considering making a miniseries similarly to the one I'm doing now for Yoshi's Adventure, but instead of being loosely based on the game's og story I was thinking of taking a game that was largely open-world/open-story, and make the series based on what happens in the playthrough?

For example: I play Stardew Valley and the miniseries is based on what I end up doing/experiencing in the playt...

The WIP sketches for a short series I've been wanting to do for a while now! Yoshi's Island retold in a bunch of tiny minipaintings!

Yoshi's Island by far one of my alltime favorite games; I used to play the everloving hell out of the original when I was a kid. I used to make up silly stories involving Yoshi and Baby Mario's adventures on their way to return the kiddo home, so I figured it'd be a good time as any to make my attempt at it. uwu
