I rarely upload my sketchbook sketches but, figured it wouldn't hurt this go round! :3 Gonna be redesigning Link and Zelda soon since the original designs I made are kinda dated (they're only a year old but still!)

Along with their new designs I plan on doing a couple of rough sketches of just character exploration: how they met, Zelda's "dragon form" design, their interactions with their horses, maybe some interaction with other characters, whatever I can think of!

In which Mal is worried Kaela has gotten sick. She's so sensitive to the air around her that she can feel the excess heat coming off of the girl, and so she goes to brush Kaela's hair out of her face to check for certain. Kaela herself is a little bewildered by the gesture but allows it all the same, feeling warm and safe under the Spirit's watchful eye.

Alllrighty! So to my surprise, MLP ended up winning the poll vote after it being neck-and-neck with LoZ for the past few days. SO! That means the next minipainting sticker will be of the ponies! :3

Fever (WIP)

Another rough sketch for an upcoming Feathers and Flowers art piece! In this one, Mal suspects Kaela's sick and goes to check for a fever. She's so caught up in her worry that she doesn't notice Kaela staring at her, both a little amused and touched by her concern. uwu

Originally this specific instance was gonna happen much later in the story but I've moved it up in the outline; I'm thinkin' this and one other event will give Mal some insight on how hard Kaela works to keep them afloat ...

Counting Tips (WIP)

The lineart for an upcoming Feathers and Flowers art piece! :3 I wanna try doing a few scenes that aren't entirely relevant to the story but still gives ya'll peeks of the characters' lives and interactions and such. In this one, an exhausted Sakura and Kaela share a late dinner while they count up their tips after closing up shop at the diner.

The two of 'em work at the same place: Kaela as a waitress and Sakura as the diner's bartender.  I'm thinkin Kaela often takes long and lat...

Fruit of the Harvest (sticker WIP)

Another sticker! This time it's one of a series that I'll be doing a theme around. Each sticker will have a made-up character (usually a stylized anthro animal or creature) that'll be wearing a little outfit and will be surrounded by foods, treats, and snacks relating to the season or month at the time!

I was hoping to hear ya'lls opinion on which model you like more? The one with the cut-out BG (1) or one without (2)? The stickers are die-cut and I thought it'd be cool to have a little...

Need some help? (Sticker)

One of six stickers I'm gonna be working on in the next comin months! I'm thinking some of them be like, miniature paintings like this one, while the others are more simplistic and themed, but we'll see! :3

While the art will be available for all of the tiers for viewing, the stickers themselves are exclusive to the Diamond Tier! The theme and characters used in said stickers will also be based on the suggestions from you all, so keep your peepers peeled for the next post askin' for you...

Wooloo and Keldeo (character designs)

The completed designs for Keldeo and Wooloo, both of which will be part of the main cast in my Pokemon miniseries comic! :3

I'd like for both of them to have actual names instead of them being just called "Wooloo" and "Keldeo", so any suggestions is very welcome!

Thank you everyone who voted! :3 It's now official, the next short comic I'll be working on will be about Pokemon! As a recap, here's the basic summary of the story:

-A grizzled, grumpy Charizard ends up stumbling on a gaggle of lost baby pokemon. Originally it tries to ignore them, but eventually sets off on a long journey to return the baby pokemon home. Along the way, hijinx and adventures ensues! :3

The idea is to make it more a mini-series than just a one off, and to keep it ...

I'm one part and a cover image away from the completion of this comic! It's been an unexpectedly large undertaking and one hell of a learning experience, and I'm very proud of its outcome thus far. Huge shoutout to Mono for allowing me to go a little crazy with this! uwu

Love You Just The Same (sneak peek 2)

Another sneak peek of the huge storyboard/comic I'm doing for the amazing Monochromatic! This is probably one of the biggest projects I undertook since I really wanted to do the story she wrote justice! ;w;  It's been super fun and exciting to work on it and I REALLY wanna show what I've done thus far bUT I GOTTA WAIT! Trying out a slightly different and more simplistic sketch style! :3 I'm trying to develop a bit of a different way I draw this stuff so I can produce them quicker. This one wouldn't have taken so long if I hadn't tried out like 1000 different expressions for them both, but generally it was pretty successful! I had a lot of fun with this too. uwu
