December update :)

HEYOOOOOOOOOOOOO Ya'll! Gonna work on making it a habit to give brief life updates at least once a month, if only so ya'll know I haven't kicked the bucket. But quick update on what I've been up to!

Mal Design exploration sketches (pt2)

Some more of that character page for Mal I'm workin' on, as well as the initial rough sketch concept I showed here before! :)

I initially was gonna go for the "titties out" version for a more harpy look, but I ultimately decided to go more animal and barrel-chested, completely covered in her feathers for this form. It's largely because I couldn't bring myself to be rid of the idea that Spirits had "inbetween" forms, one that would help branch the concept that Spiritov (a.k.a "witches") ...

This is just a snapshot of the whole character page, but I really like the direction her design has taken so far! She looks like some sort of monster now; not quite human, but not quite animal either. Something inbetween, which is the goal I wanted to reach for her and, in proxy, the Spirits. She's a little more difficult to draw now but I love her so much :)

Quick update about fanart!

Heyoooooooo ya'll! Figured it was a good idea to do an update about this since I know a few of ya joined my patreon for my AUs and fanart stuff.

To keep it quick and clean: my AUs, headcanons, and fanart projects will be in an indefinite hiatus. I am no longer burnt out BUT I'm afraid my interest in working on fanprojects is still missing. I apologize for those of you who followed for my Super Mario stuff, my LoZ stuff, MLP stuff... any AU project I was working on ...

Melon's Adventure: Cover Page (wip)

Buckled down to do some work on the Melon's Adventure storybook, including some mockups of how the book pages may look when printed out!

I'm pretty proud of the progress I have thus far, and the book roughly about 60-70% finished. All I really need to do now is paint the cover, edit the writing to clean it up a bit, and update some of the older paintings to make it a lil more consistent to the newer ones.

I'm fuckin' excited, man! My first big project in years, nearly done!
