Not quite an artbook but I figured I could start doing this as well: posting the high-res files of my prints in a zip file you can download. :3 This time it's of the prints I've made this year for Bronycon (thus far anyway). I hope you enjoy!

I've started on the Daybreaker print and I figured I can share what she looks like so far. It's only the base sketch and BG right now, but still. :3

A late night painting I did of Rarity relaxing with a guitar; I remembered she can canonically play the instrument in show and thought it'd be a fun scene to depict. ^.^

Hey, so I'm thinking about adding a couple more rewards to the current tiers I have, and I wanted an opinion from you folks. What do you think of these possible additions:
-Discounts on commissions
-Base lineart/unused sketches that can be used by my patrons
-I had a third one but I honestly forgot what it was. If you'd like to make suggestions though feel free to do so. C:
But yeah, for the o...

A very quick, very rough animation test I did to get back into the groove before I started animating my keys and such for my film. In this stage I don't worry too much about staying on model, but the tweaks will definitely be needed before cleanup.
I'll probably change this up a bit and change the keys for a different flow of the head movement, but we'll see. :3

Something I wanted to try! They aren't necessarily tutorials but I've gotten requests before to make step-by-steps of my work, so here's my first attempt. Every time I make a new illustration I think I'll do this, but they will remain accessible to my patrons only. c: If you have a question about my process or would like to request a step-by-step of something else, feel free to give me suggestions!

A new installment to my Road Trip project I'm doing for Bronycon! Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash go downstairs to the hotel dining room to get some early breakfast with Applejack. Thing is, they aren't really morning ponies, so the minute they take a seat they bundle up together and struggle to stay awake. Didn't really work out for Shy there. x3
This was the result of about 4 hours of work I think using only Photoshop. I'll be uploading both the GIF process and the written process of this...

The animatic for my upcoming short film titled URSA. An animatic is essentially a moving storyboard to give the viewer a preview of how the film might look, as well as help with timing out the scenes and seen what does and doesn't work. This is actually my second animatic for my film with the complete backgrounds incorporated, and while most of the timing is correct I still need to make a few tweaks here and there. But, here it is, the film in its entirety before I begin animation!

An old assignment I did to practice both ToonBoom and staying on model of an existing character. "Staying on model" means making the character look like... well, themselves, when they're moving, no matter how they're moving or what angle they're in. It's actually harder than what it sounds like but the pay-off is well worth it.
The assignment called for us to take a scene from a show or movie where the character isn't seen on screen, but they're speaking, and we were supposed to anima...

An older animation assignment I did to practice ToonBoom Harmony. The assignment called for us to take a favorite childhood storybook and animate a scene from the book using the presented style. I chose the book Guess How Much I Love You, a short little story about a baby rabbit and his father telling each other how much they love one another.

An older animation I did to test out effects animation, both by using built-in nodes and hand-animated. The subjects in the short are the Ursa Major and Ursa Minor, constellations that are said to be bears with long, dog-like tails. I actually have an idea based on the Ursa Major and Minor that I'd love to make into a short film. Keep a lookout for that in the future!

The full animation of my 3-shot assignment I titled Foo. The idea behind the assignment was to choose only 3 scenes from a film idea to animate in order to get some practice with our animation program, ToonBoom Harmony. This was a great assignment and I learned a lot from it, and further down the road I plan on fully revising these three scenes and actually making a full short film from this idea. For now, though, this will have to do I guess!

The basic character sheet I did for my Foo 3-shot assignment. I learned a lot doing this assignment, primarily that I love designing characters and that... the characters I design might be too complex for me to animate as of right now. One day I will be able to animate characters like this with some semblance of ease but until then I've since learned to better simplify characters I intend to animate.
That said, he was a blast to design and draw.

A style frame I did for a practice animation thing we did to learn the general production line of animation in the big biz. We had to come up with a film idea, write its story, and animate only 3 scenes from the overall idea of the film. Mine revolved around a father Foo Dog trying to teach the importance of their jobs as guardians of a shrine to his pup. The pup, however, is mostly interested in playing with the pretty shiny ball.

A style frame is what you do to try and capture the overall look and feel of your film before you get in to doing some detailed ironing out of the visuals and character designs and so forth. This was mine. Despite knowing the general direction I wanted the film to go and how it looked, the film has since changed from this initial test to how it looks now. Regardless this was a blast to paint and it's one of my favorite works thus far.

The character sheet of the Cub's mother from my upcoming film URSA. After I figured out the design of the baby, she was pretty simple to design. She also doesn't have a name so she goes by Momma, but I very much enjoyed coming up with her design!

The current character sheet of the main character of my upcoming film, URSA. He's cute, yeah? I've since tweaked the design here and there for easier animating but this is the closest to his finalized design I have. He doesn't actually have a name, so I've just been calling him Cub.

Some more character development for URSA, this time more finalized! The baby bear's design is essentially complete and this sheet is to help assistant animators with the construction of his face when we rough out the animation. This is only a part of a larger sheet, though.

Some early sketches of the baby bear from my upcoming short film URSA. Because the cub is the main character I started with him first. The general style I wanted for film is loosely based on the Haida style, but before I did that I had to get a better feel of how bears actually look and feel in behavior and movement, which meant some trips to the zoo! I have a finalized character sheet for him as of now but there will be more visits to the zoo to iron out some of the inconsistencies the design m...

This is a bit old but it's the poster of my senior film, obviously titled URSA. The film is about a minute and a half long, give or take, and its story revolve around a baby bear who goes fishing for his sick mother.
The film is currently in development, with me starting the animation in about a week, so expect uploads of WIPs of the film!

This patreon has been a bit on the backburner for some time thanks to a bunch of things, but most of all I didn't necessarily know what to do with it and how to balance out my rewards without burning out.
Now that I think I finally have something that works, I'm relaunching my patreon as of today! There will be a flood of new content shortly, some public and some not, and this patreon will now host mostly original work but also include fanart works as well.
For those of you who have stay...

Trying out my new toned sketchbook and came up with this alongside the Vinyl Scratch portrait. I've always loved drawing Twily with short hair; it looks REALLY good on her! :3
Anyway, one of the originals I plan on selling, as well as an example of the type of commissions I plan on offering during the convention. ^.^

After I heard the voice actress of Daring Do was going to be present at Bronycon, I thought it appropriate to have a print done of Daring Do in response! This one is gonna be traditionally painted, watercolors, and I'm kinda excited for the turn-out for it. I just gotta figure out the colors of the BG before I hope into it. :/ Suggestions are more than welcome if you guys have any! :3
