Hiya everyone! Starting August off with a process video to my sunset city sketch!
Sunsets are great to capture and can help to convey a strong mood or feeling. I personally find them to be one of the most relaxing moods! You'll see that the initial idea wasn't a sunset, but somehow along the process, my instincts just kicked in and I made that decision without too much thought behind it - it just felt right.

The long awaited step-by-step tutorial on how to create a scene with structures is finally here!
This tutorial sits over 2 hours long but as it should be, because creating structures is a little more technical compared to a natural scene. As usual, you'll see me take you through the entire process from blank canvas to the finished artwork.

Sharing with you my first step-by-step tutorial for a pokemon piece!
As I will mention in the end of the video, Chimchar was actually spontaneously added in later on the piece so it wasn't recorded - but everything else is so I hope you'll enjoy it! :)

It's finally here! I've been getting a lot of messages about this piece so here is the process video for it :)
Neon colors can be tricky but just keep flicking on the black/white layer and check the values often to make sure everything reads well! It's a golden trick that can help an artwork 'work' in any way or color - well, most colors anyways!

Hi everyone! The underwater tutorial is here! :D
It's been a while since I've done an underwater scene but having a crack at this was super fun. Never think it's scary because all you need to do is have a good look at some references, know how you can take away from there and put that knowledge into your own work! Which I will cover in this tutorial. Also to mention I used a monochromatic palette which makes it extra moody!

Who likes sunsets?
Here is a process video on how I created my Sunset Clouds piece. It's all about layering the right tones to capture the richness of the sunset and it doesn't need to be complex. You can do so in all sorts of ways, whether it be; blending with soft brushes or creating strong shapes, you can capture it all as long as you get the values and the 'feel' right. It's June already! Into another new month of art and new content!
Starting June off with a new step-by-step tutorial video on how I created my 'Dreamland' artwork! This artwork was inspired by the song 'Dreamlands' by Glass Animals.

Here's a new step by step tutorial for you guys!
We're working with a pretty limited range here when we take a look at the finished piece here. But there is actually so much we can do if we adjust the tones a little and seperate things into the background, mid ground and foreground.
At the end, you will notice that the video doesn't include the 'detailing' of the castle and the addition of the horse. I didn't actually have it recorded but it was mainly just part of the 'finishing'...

Do we all love floating rocks and dramatic scenes? That's what I've got right here for you!
