SB2.04 - Beta Release

Hi Everyone!

This has been an bit of a challenging update cycle. Few things to deal with in my personal life, but nothing I couldn't make up the time on. This update includes six member-voted scenes, which has advanced many stories forward. I see this update as the layup for more main story progress in the next. I have also been using a new animation tool, which has increased the quality and quantity of the animations. On my end, it has been super helpful. I have also now gone through all the content to fix up the notifications, outfit unlocks, and stats progression of all the characters, adding to the already solid foundation. I hope you enjoy the update, the big vision is slowly coming together.

BETA TESTERS:

There are a lot of new features and back end changes in this update, so you might find some stuff. Report bugs and typos to the discord #beta-testing channel in the appropriate thread. Keep spoilers out of other channels. The changelog outlines things to look out for in this version's testing. I will be out of my office for a time during the beta test, but will fix any major issues as soon as possible. At this time I'm mostly, almost certain everything is playable. Thanks!

SB2.04 - CHANGELOG

QOL:

- recoded gym menus to make room for non-aerobics scenes

- labeled steve's sharing routes at d5 hot tub, and d2 xel call

- new outfit viewer code, with improved functionality

- added 2.03 and 2.04 outfits to the outfit viewer

- recoded the intro for better replays, and outfit unlocks

- phone contact is unlocked after naming a character, outfit is unlocked during the panning image

- replays should not trigger any notifications for stat increases, or outfit unlocks (please report these if you find them)

- moved scene unlock code to the end of the scenes, so you cant replay it before you see it in game

- rerendered a bunch of images that needed polish

- Mai's stat page says "affinity" for the first loop, then "obsession" after the first dance

- Lexxx stats now indicate her calibration percentage

- Other girls affinity, pregnancy, sub/dom stats are now active (they just don't do anything yet)

- texted photos are now saved to the phones image album when you open the girl's chat

- added a skip in the library to eliminate a chance of a dead end

*note: any changes made in the phone, gallery, girl stat page, outfit viewer, will not save unless you exit the phone and progress one click. after that, all your customizations will save

**known bug: unable to scroll up in text chats. You can drag the scroll bar to view earlier messages, but if you hover your mouse on the chat you return to the most recent message. Working on it

Sexbot Blackjack 2.0_beta

Hey everyone!

I have recently reformatted my Sexbot Blackjack game. One reason this was discontinued, was that it became too much work to create as animations were added, and detracted from main game development. So in this version there are no animations, just image strip sets for the ladies. This may change later, but for now, that is where it is.

The intent with this game is to give supporters a fun way to pass time between updates. With some of the sets being picked by lucky supporters on the discord.

I am open to feedback on how the game can be improved, but keep in mind this is a side game. And it won't be getting all the same attention and effort the main title gets.

How many of you would like to see Sexbot Blackjack get updated?

The plan is to fix up the game, and add to it. I would outsource all the coding, so my only additional workload would be making the images, and there are not many compared to the main game. I figured spreading out the work, the impact to my regular workload would be almost negligible. I don't plan to add animations at this time. I would like to create a casino floor setting for the player menus, to give it some flare.

Hello Everybody!

Because we didn't do any scene selections for the last update, I'm very excited to announce we will be doing double DOUBLE scene selections for 2.04! That's right, 6 scenes voted in by you! The first 3 rounds of votes will happen as normal:

Vote 1 - Special Members+
Vote 2 - Distinguished Members+
Vote 3 - Prominent Members+

Then we will repeat this cycle again, as a thank you for letting me omit the votes last update. The only thing I haven't worked out yet, is if the voting options reset for the second round. If the options reset, you might see repeat winners. Or I could not reset the options, and we will get 6 scenes for 6 different characters. Let me know which you would prefer in the comments!

Now, without further ado, who would you like to see first in 2.04? Alexa, Lexxx, Sam and Emily will not be voting options, because I have plans for them already.

Hi Everyone,

There is an issue with the phone in the game, this fix should correct it for now. Open the attached folder and merge it with the game folder. It is replacing "game\phoneV2\setup" and the file is "phone_setup.rpy"

Thank you for waiting the extra three weeks for this update, it's a big one. Now that it's done, I want to get back to my usual update cycle, and scene selections for SB2.04 will resume as normal.

This update took a lot of effort to try and get things right. I want a strong foundation for this game, and I think I have it now. I am very excited to hear what the fans of it! That being said, the game is still a WIP. Things will change, get moved around, and used as needed to make the final version perfect. Currently there is a large bottle neck at day 2 evening, that requires a lot of skipping loops. That kind of thing will be ironed out as more content is added. In the meantime, I have made skipping through loops easier than ever.

I really you you enjoy the update, I think it's very cool. Sexbot II is finally starting to look like the game I have wanted to make, and I could not have done it without your support.

Change to Some Tiers

Hello Everyone,

With this update closing the loop (praise the loop) I have made one minor change to the tier structure.

INSTEAD of doing a price increase to keep up with the economy and content provided, I have opted to simply hide the $3 Member tier.

$3 MEMBERS:
Everyone currently in the Member tier can stay where they are. You will get access to the game after the BETA test, during Official Release. You will not get the scene selection voting power Special Members have at this tier. If you leave this tier, you will not be able to rejoin, and will have to join the $6 Special Members tier to support.

$6 SPECIAL MEMBERS
The only change you will see is the Early Release that comes after BETA testing, will now be the Official Release. So nothing will change for you, you will get the game at the same time, and retain your voting power for scene selections.

EVERYONE ELSE:
Nothing changes for you.

SB2.03 - Teaser #1 - It's Happening!

SB2.03 Progress Update

Hello Everyone!

We are now about a month into this update cycle, and I have got a lot done. The goal of this update is to bring the game to a more complete level of game play. That means more than one loop path to follow, a climatic dance sequence, and time loop reset.

I am happy with my decision to suspend scene voting for this update, as it has given me more time to get the above mentioned content in place. The voting scenes will be returning to the SB2.04 dev cycle.

As far as timing for this release goes...

I have outsourced some of the coding work I want completed, so I can stay focused on content. Hopefully it will be easy to implement, but that remains to be seen. I have also completed a lot of ground work for the dance sequence, so hopefully the next parts I wonk on go smoothly.

My personal philosophy on this subscription based model is that when you support my development time, you are entitled to what I have created during that time. That is why I release smaller updates, more frequently, so you can see exactly what I'm doing with the time you pay me for. I will not make you wait 13+ months, or anything ridiculous like that.

Based on what I have done so far, I can promise to release the update in May, at the latest. That leaves me some wiggle room for unexpected surprises, and your worst case scenario is I'll release everything I have made up until May 31st so you can see where your money is going. With that information, you can adjust your support accordingly.

This update is going to be very significant for the game, and I'm committed to getting it right, and making it awesome.

Next Update

Hi Everyone,

I have decided to postpone the scene votes for the upcoming SB2.03 update. I wanted to tell you early, so that you could adjust your support tiers as you see fit. I always try to be honest and transparent with what's going on, because I value your support.

Now, why is there no voting?

BECAUSE WE ARE GOING TO THE DANCE!

That's right! I have started work on the dance sequence! This means the next update will include day 4 and 5 calibration for Alexa and Lexxx, the first dance sequence, and as much of the main story as I can fit in the update. This is why I'm postponing the vote, I will need to focus every brain cell on making the time loop work narratively. This means considering how the first, and last loop of the game will play out, and all the loops in between. (Goddamn time travel)

It's exciting stuff, and I didn't want to make you wait any longer for it, and I personally can't wait to really get this game going either. The phone is also going to get an upgrade to it's texting and photo functionality, so any bugs it has now will wait until the next update.

SB2.02 - Official Release

Hi Everyone!

Another update ready to go! This one focuses on Day 3 content, and features new scenes, in new environments, AND has a new phone feature! An updated changelog is attached.

There is a new button to wishlist SB2 on Steam, so do it now!

The outfit viewer is a new icon on the phone, and allows you to view FOUR unlocked outfits from any character at once. It's fun to play with the combinations, and see the relative sizes of characters. Or view one character with multiple outfits. I'm open to feedback on how to improve that feature, as I just put it together today.

There is a bonus scene, and spoilers, its a mini game. It's totally optional, just something I felt like making, but I'm very happy with the result. Please let me know what you think of it, and if you want to see more or less of that kind of thing. There is now an accessibility feature, to make the game easier.

Please be sure to update the beta version to this one. Enjoy the update, I'm excited to start work on Day 4!

- There is a cheat for the mini game that sets the timer to 2 seconds for every stage, however it locks trophies
- New Game + resets mini game progress, after beating NG+ it does not reset mini game progress again
- Cheat info will be integrated into texting next update (making changes to that code still, so not adding anything new)

Outfit Viewer:

- Expanded to 4 character slots
- New selection process, make your choices then "View Selection"
