This is the third or fourth itteration of the Specter armor actually.

We initially took some inspiration from WH40k, other media, and of course Helldivers, the latter of which helped us finalize the armor design ^^

I'm really satisfied with this one!

And yes, Nachzehrer-37 is having a "vietnam flashback" here lol

armor design is pain peko and so is drawing guns Dx

(good thing CSP got 3D models for guns, so that helps a bunch)

heck, even designing that little emblem on the shoulders took a solid 2h, even with Wolf's constant guidance.

Mithrildis is actually also one of my older TTRPG characters.

She's my dual spear wielding girl, but she didn't see as much action as some of the other ones I played over the years ^^

Only the strongest and smartest orcs become chiefs, so  this is why this conversation is slightly more nuanced compared to what  we saw of the orcs previously haha ^^

Figuring out the pacing on this page was not easy.
On one hand we wanted to portray that the human reinforcements have arrived.
And there was the challenge of showcasing that the Orc scout had to run some distance to get to the Orc camp to report.
It may not be the best solution of how we handled it, but we figured to keep this as brief as possible so we can focus on the scene inside the Orc tent with the chiefs instead ^^

Crescentia:
Warchief orc guy ended up looking kind of like Gigachad lol

As we try to get the poses as accurately as possible, Cres has to go through a lot of edits with each of these pages.
Even if things may not be perfect, we're both trying our best!

Also, I can't stress how much I like Astrid.
Definitely my favorite of the side characters ^^
And yup, Barghest squad didn't speak a single word throughout all of this, which is intentional.

I hope we managed to showcase so far, that the orcs are quite simple minded, yet some of them still have reasoning.
It's quite tricky to pull off without "spelling it out" as in, having a character point that out in an awkward dialogue haha ^^

Crescentia:
Orc Lady is kinda tough though.
Got lotsa energy, considering running through mud is kinda tiresome.
