Pausing Billing for November - December

First off I'd like to thank you all for the last year, seeing the number of supporters grow so much and the amount of love you've all sent my way has been really fantastic and really made this a memorable year in my art career!

I'll be going on a short hiatus for the next two months so that I can take some time to go on a much-anticipated trip and spend time with family and friends over the coming holidays! This means I'll be pausing billing for the next two months but I'll be back in J...

DMC - Closeups + Process

So yeah, this one took a lot longer than expected, despite blazing through the start of it, I guess life happens to us all 😅

Didn't really get to experiment much with this piece in that case though I'm happy with the final result, just didn't feel like I pushed anything new with it! Though I'm really proud of some of my more inspired ideas within the piece!

Dante/Lady/Virgil - Library Battle

So so sorry that this piece is so late! Really hoped to have it done two weeks ago but then I gotsick and last week there was some bad news in the family so I haven't really had the capacity to work on my art much. That said, really happy with how this came out in the end despite how I initially had no clear idea with what I wanted from the colours 😅

Was really hoping to be done with this piece this week but I've been fighting a real stinker of a cold since Monday and let me tell you, the brain fog has been REAL 🤧 So, NEXT WEEK I'll be finishing this 🤞

Zelda/Link - Closeups + Process

I feel like, despite the numerous iterations, this one came together relatively quickly... or that just might be my feeling coming off the back of the 5th Element piece 🤣

Tried something a bit new with the lighting, wanted to put emphasis on the strong lighting from outside the cell with more contrast, allowing for more subtle shading within.

Zelda/Link - Taming a Wolf

Really REALLY happy with how this one came out... especially (weirdly) the background rendering 🥰

A totally new idea for the Link/Zelda piece. Wasn't 100% with the initial concept I sketched out but I feel like this one captures the same vibes 🥰 puppy needs to be housetrained

Also as a little treat, here's the initial concept for the DMC3 piece if it manages to win the poll next week 😏 (though Dungeon Meshi might still easily take the lead at the last second)

5th Element - Closeups + Process

Oh boy this was an ORDEAL. Not gonna do anything this detailed for a WHILE!

That said, I really feel like I managed to perfectly capture what I envisioned all those months ago when the concept came to me in a migraine induced hallucination 🥰

Tried a new method for rendering the fluids... not 100% there yet but for this instance it proved to be a lot quicker!

Oh boy oh boy we're nearly there! All the line work is now finally sorted, all the flats are down, so now just some rendering and the shading and I'll be FREE!!!! Jokes aside, really had fun on this one and it's so far turned out exactly as I envisioned all those months ago when the idea hit me 😊

Also started on the Link/Zelda piece, some of you might have already seen the early concepts for it on discord! Just wanted a little change of pace while I worked away on the 5th Element pie...
