I have triumphed over the website and the beast is subdued! New accounts should be made (security update & Patreon changing it's policies make it necessary, sorry) but rewards will be much easier to access...once I finish adding them all. Tomorrow, for now I sleep!

Just a reminder that while I'm gearing up to bring you all new illustrations & maps for next month, I still have plenty of archived pieces that you're free to use. Just visit my profile, click "Posts", scroll down a bit and in the left-most column you'll see "TAGS". If you click any of those (there's a few more where it says "29 more") you'll be brought to all illustrations or maps with that tag. I've done my best to it as easy to find my creations or information this way u...

As most of you know, I usually post daily on here with all sorts of fantastic rewards, illustrations, maps, photography, discounts, and more. However, because I'm switching things up this month, rewards will be coming more towards mid-late month instead of now. I've got a bunch of really cool projects that I'm working on that I think you'll all love and some new rewards hopefully coming soon. I just need a bit of time to get them presentable so I hope you don't mind.

Skyrim Day is Nov. 11th & I'm putting together a list of crafters, artists, streamers, cosplayers, etc. who currently have Skyrim themed items in their shops, feeds, streams, etc. Not only will this list go on my website but I'll be sharing the individual links all day on 11/11 on Twitter. If you are such a crafter/artist/cosplayer/streamer or know someone who is, post links in the comments below.

I was without internet on my computer for the past week and just got it back last night. Nothing serious, Verizon capped our hotspot that we normally use to connect to the internet so we had to have a new line put in for internet. But now I have faster/better service so streaming will be a breeze!
Speaking of, I resume my Monday & Friday 3-7pm PST schedule and will be adding Discord video chat once that feature becomes available. So if you haven't yet, click your Discord reward and j...

Though much of what you may be making is fantasy where trees can be metallic teal in color, don’t assume that you are stuck with earth tones when coloring your map. There are tons of colors in nature that you can easily incorporate into your maps. Take some time to go through the below images for ideas & inspirations. While you’re at it, note ...

I show you five ways to create dynamic effects using a single color family, similar colors, contrasting colors, a single color and then two similar colors & a contrasting third.

Copic markers don’t require a big setup to work with however there are some things to keep in mind:
- Always have thick paper under the project you’ll be coloring for two reasons:
- the markers can bleed through to the other side and stain whatever is under your paper
- because they can bleed through even 90lb paper, if o...

Take care of your markers and they will last you quite some time! As someone who uses their markers daily, you would think that I would be replacing tips & ink on a daily basis as well. Thankfully, that’s not the case. One of the many appealing factors to Copic markers is that you can refill them instead of using them and tossing them out....

Let’s talk code here for a moment, shall we? And by that I mean, “what the hell do the letter/number codes on the Copic marker caps mean?!” question we all have. There’s lots of articles on the internet about this but some are more confusing than the code so let me first make it as plain as possible and then we’ll get all technical, m’kay?

I’m asked why I use Copic markers all the time and if I’ve tried other markers/methods to coloring my maps. Yes, I’ve tried other markers and yes, I’ve used other methods to color maps. So why Copic markers? Though they are a bit costly to start (each marker runs about $7-8 USD a piece) they are well worth it if you plan on coloring often and/...

Advantages to drawing on paper and bringing everything into Photoshop:
- If I mess up on the illustration, either in pencil or ink, it doesn’t affect the rest of the map. Nothing’s worse than spending endless hours creating a map only to mess it up while trying to draw an illustration.
- I can resize the compass or illustrati...
