Another very different design for how the magical realm of the dioptra might look. I really like the dark space with neon colors styled background Pop Lee has done for a few of the Moon Council side comic pages, so I want to go in that direction for the dioptra. More like the astral plane in dungeons and dragons.

I've been wanting to feature pole dances as part of a religious ceremony for the deva for a long time, so I'm happy to finally see it here as part of this side comic, expanding the setting. Plus, I love the dresses the characters in the background have. I think this is going to be the basic pious sort of attire deva wear when they go to their temples- sheer silk with organic gold shoulder and upper body ornamentation.
