Hey you guys! So I’m currently remaking this this comic as an animation (which is why I’ve been so quiet on IG)
This is an old comic from like 2 to 3 years ago. What made them argue like this was that Fray and Dory were sort of roped into hanging out with Coco and Pepé but weren’t really looking forward to following them around the mall all day or carrying bags and stuff.

The first set of drawings include a femme Dory and femme Pepe, and the second set of drawings are masc Pepe and masc Dory.
The first is also more of an ambiguous-platonic situation where the second is blatantly queer/gay.

Also, for anyone curious, all of their names are the same except for Rose and Daniel.
Instead of Rosetta, it's just Rose and Daniel is Danielle.
These are all the Chette (alternate universe version of Chet, or femme Chet) and Buttercup meeting and hanging out together!
There's even a little bit of Chet and a masc Buttercup.
These aren't canon and are very silly/maybe ooc.
