Work has resumed, and I have a new page up and sketched for you guys! I hammered at the "plot" and tried my level best to cut straight to The Good Stuff as soon as possible, but it looks like this thing's gonna go on a bit longer than I thought, initially.
Like... rather than 8 pages, it'll be about 15-19, depending on how I cut things. >_>
I'll have a talk with Sab and Moss about this later, because they've definitely been roped into something bigger than I threatened them ...

Finally got Page 2 (version 2) down. Initially this was to be the first appearance of Warpstone, who would be ferrying Krystal from place to place, until I realised that 1) it's a dumb idea, and Warpstone didn't really work like in the game (canon is important) and all the drawings I did of him looked pretty dumb. THAT and I was planning on having a Cloudrunner scene later, so I might as well introduce Krystal's Ptaxi now, and he'll just cash in his scene later.

It's okay guys, Krystal knows what she's doing, she's got this, and she's backflipping into a tentacle pic like a CHAMPION.

I haven't really touched on Minnie or Maxine a ton at all, but seeing as they're coworkers to a main character (Renée) I should probably get into a bit.
Minnie is a complete menace. She's young and into all the wrong things: Ketchup chips, space weed and additional ketchup chips. But she's also a phenomenal coder when she's lit. Unfortunately, she also doesn't write comments in her code, so she's very much a chaotic evil sort of coder, unlike her partner (and boss, technically) Maxine....

I've spent the last couple days doodling up some conceptual ideas for the pinup and I've settled on doing something with SUPER MARIO 2 which many of you will remember as the game that didn't feature Bowser or the koopas at all.
